Does anybody know how to, or if it is even possible on the Xbox version, change the ages of the created players? All I can see is the stuff that is available on the edit/create player screen under the rosters part. That would sure help me greatly.

Re: Roster Update for Xbox
OK guys, I am getting there slowly but surely. The Cubs and Royals are all set, basically only by default. They were the first two teams that I seemed to be able to complete the easiest. As I complete teams I am also trying my best to update player ratings. All I see to update are the screens under create/update player with the sliders for average, power, and pull, plus speed, range, and arm strength. For example, I really adjusted up Angel Berroa for KC and Joe Borowski for the Cubs. I have already dropped Tom Glavine of the Mets and other players who declined last season. I am also trying to place players who have been invited to camp (or are on the 40 man roster) in the minors of the correct teams - especially if they probably won't make the big league roster.Comment

Re: Roster Update for Xbox
Just letting you know that I would be interested in the xbox roster. I tried making a xbox roster last year with all the ratings based off of the hh pc roster for minors and everybody but I got too frustrated with the lack of help and the inability to edit ages and such.Comment

Re: Roster Update for Xbox
Yeah, the no age edit thing hurts, but I am trying my best to get around it. I realized that if I just edit an existing player with the same age as the player I want to create, then I get the correct age that way. Then I just edit the sliders to reflect my new player and switch numbers, height, weight, etc. What is the hardest part so far is getting all the players on the correct levels (majors, AAA, etc.). I have removed almost all of the "actual" players off of the available players list and put them onto their correct teams. Some have been placed on the AAA roster. Now I just need to get all of the players already on teams onto their correct new teams, and we will be good to go. Setting the lineups and rotations is easy once I get the rosters correct. I also am not bothering with keeping "fake" minor leaguers on the teams they are on, so there might be some darn good prospects sitting on the available players list. I am NOT doing the complete minor leagues, just a few players who may make an impact (ie Joe Mauer, Adam LaRoche, etc.). When I am finished, however, we SHOULD have updated rosters that would match the new 2004 games.Comment

Re: Roster Update for Xbox
Hey guys, this is taking longer than I expected to finish and I am now in doubt that I will have them completed before the baby is born. HH is probably the least friendly game I have ever tried to edit. I'm still chugging away at the rosters, but right now I have a LOT of other stuff going on. If anyone feels the desire to help with these rosters, I can send my current file to OS (assuming I can get them on the AR memory card). HH's designers must have spent 99% of their time on gameplay and next to nothing on ease of use with everything else.Comment
