I'm sorry man, but apparently you don't know much about the Game Industry from the "store's" point of view. Most people who've ever preordered a game can testify that the statement you just made is absolutely false. No offense or anything, but when it comes to release dates, the actual game stores know about as much as their told from a magazine, which is no longer anywhere NEAR up to date. I put a preorder on a game that didn't come out for like 3 months in said store, but was out everywhere else. Went in there once a week for a couple week only to be told by a different teller each time "it's coming out next week!". The Website however said it was delayed until 2 months from then. Said screw that, took off my preorder, went and got it where it was already being sold. The stores don't know jack anymore, man. The websites have the most up to date info on release dates.
In any case, I don't care that it's coming out later in the month. Why? My Birthday is the 24th. I get it for free either way. I'm still amazed by the blatant bigotry and hypocrasy of all this "WHAT?! TWO WEEKS?!? THAT'S IT, I'M NOT BUYING!!".....god god...so it's coming out two weeks later...it's still before the season starts....who frickin' cares? who cares if the other games DO come out before it, WHO CARES?! I know alot of people are getting extremely anxious for Baseball nowadays, it's comin' up fast, and you want to get your game on...but for god sake, hold your damn horses before you go shooting the messenger and renouncing your purchases because of two (BLEEP)ing weeks.
