Re: Looking back on videogame baseball
How could you guys leave out Base Wars for the NES? That game is so bad ***, I still play it to this day. Baseball Simulator pretty good too. Still playing Ken Griffey for the SNES. And I think Triple Play 96 has to be my favourite baseball game of the 90's though.Comment

Re: Looking back on videogame baseball
Anyone remember Microleague Baseball. My brother and I shared an Amiga, and I played the game non-stop for three years. I remmeber getting data disks, replaying the 1986 World Series, creating leagues. As a strat-o-matic player, it was nice to play see the stats come to life.
Then came Earl. I don't think I'll ever be so captivated by another baseball game. The robotic announcer, the TV-based graphics, realistic stats. I wish they still made it today.Comment
