Oh, I agree and I won't say MVP is better than any game yet because we just don't know. I for one am looking forward to ASB to see what it has to offer. I'm just hoping that my biggest problem with last years game is addressed. That was the lack of hit variety in zone hitting. Time will tell....

Seriously, I'd admit the framerate if I saw it. Only time I saw something that might be considered that is during some of the batter walkups. Hardly an issue for me. Like I've said before, maybe it's my TV, cables I'm using, Xbox etc... I don't know. I just don't see it (and neither do a few others so I know my vision isn't that bad).

I will add that it seems that many that are having the problem are on an HDTV. I'm not so maybe that's the issue...

Dude, if you'd read the framerate thread, not everyone is having the framerate issues. I for one am not so I'm not SETTLING. Maybe it's because I have a 2 week old Xbox with a Samsung Drive. Maybe it's because I'm not playing on High Def. Maybe it's the Monster Svideo Cable I'm using. I don't know, but I can assure you that I'm not (as well as many others) seeing the issues with framerate that many others are seeing.

Gimics? All I'll say on that is "Mascots".

Anyhow, you can believe what you want to tell yourself to justify your purchase - even if it's not accurate. All I'll say is that you're missing out on a VERY good baseball game. That's your loss....

Anyone who says mvp is better than asb or will be better should not be listened to since ASB is not out yet. And for me, no, MVP has no noticable slowdown in it when changing from certain screens. If you choose not to admit it fine, but it's not there for me so i am not annoyed.

Funny how just changing a few words in a post changes the whole meaning around.

                        Re: After playing MVP........................

i was an ASB guy last year but after playing MVP i probably won't get it this year. i got MVP just b/c it came out first but i love the game. it's a good game of baseball and it's TONS better than last year. ASB should've come out earlier, then i woulda given it a chance. but i gave MVP a shot and i like it this year.

IMO the things in MVP i couldn't live without if i bought ASB would be the game importance meter and the jumping in/out of games. i can go home at lunch, play 5-6 innings, and sim the rest if i want to. at lunch today i fanned 6 in five innings with maddux and jumped out and simmed the last 3 when i had a 5-0 lead. the CPU finished the game, tacking on an insurance run and i won 6-0. too cool. there are so many games in baseball that this gives me the option to play the important parts in a lot of games.

i'll probably rent ASB at some point this summer but right now it looks like they lost a customer with the release date.

Or you could home and play 5 or 6 innings then save the game and continue it later . If you had ASB that is.
