Why does everyone worry about these mag ratings....don't put these people on a pedestal. They probably will never play and not care about the game anywhere near as much as you. OXM,Game Informer or any other mag...it cracks me up! The game wiill be out soon....you play the hell out of it and have some damn fun. I listen to the real sports gamers...guys who will be playing it a whole lot....places like Op Sports and Nfl2kx.....not guys who will play it for 5 minutes and think they have enough for a legit review.Comment

I know trigger, but I just feel bad for the Acclaim guys. They really make an excellent product, but they get no love from any publications. That saddens me, it really does. When the buggy games like MVP steal all the glory. It's just sad.Comment

Maybe one of you guys can answer this for me.... How is the zone hitting supposed to be like in ASB this year? I know it's wide open since no has played it, but I thought maybe one of you guys read something that I missed.
I know it is now the defaut which made me wonder if it has been improved upon. I really dislike playing with a cursor for some reason, but last years ASB didn't play well with zone hitting IMO. The hit variety wasn't real good from what I saw.
So with that said, is this years changed or is it the same thing? Thanks!Comment

ASB_Man said they made it the default this year and put more work into it. Take that for what it is worth. Steve is really the only person that has played it, and we have not heard from him a while

I think that we are all afraid that with these bad reviews that eventually Acclaim will be forced to stop making ASB. We are all in panic mode especially because of Acclaims money woes and we don't want Acclaim and the ASB franchise to go the way of High Heat. Here's to many more annual editions of my favorite baseball game series
