Michael, I am only part way through the review and you mentioned problems with running. ASB_Man stated that the old system of running is still an option. Just curious if that is better for you?

Not really. And I made sure to mention that it's not because I think it's that bad. I got spoiled with the baserunning on MVP and MLB 2005. I hope ASB will go to that next year.

I'm just commenting this as I read.

I thought there were 5 batting modes one where you used the triggers to swing. Did they take that out???

The strike zone looks pretty big. Are the pithers too accurate this year like last?

JRod, you use the right analog stick to swing.

Michael, are you saying there is no option to change the base running scheme? There is a screenshot here at OS that shows baserunning set to normal, and ASB_art told me that is the new baserunning (The one you described), but you can choose classic (04 version) as well. Even though 04 was not that great either .

Nono, I am not saying that. You can switch to the classic style baserunning. I am saying that didn't make it any better for me.

Jrod - The last game I remember using the trigger to bat with was the first World Series for Dreamcast.

Great review as always Michael, I just finished it up, now I need to sleep. Thanks for keeping me up an extra 30 minutes

Did you get a chance to try the analog swing at all? I am pretty sure my hand will not be coordinated enough to pull it off with zone hitting, but I might give it a try on easy.

To be honest, no. I can't think of any practical use for it. If it was a default option youhad to turn off I would have mentioned it. It's a total afterthought.

Glad I could keep you up! If it makes you feel any better it took me almost 3 hours to write!
