    Pitcher Fatigue????

Every starter I have used or played against is about gassed/exhausted by the middle/end of the 5th inning. Has anyone else seen this, if so did you find a resolution?? It's pretty bad when Schilling can't get past the 5th because he is exhausted!!

I am struggling with this as well. Without even throwing that many pitches or giving up many hits, my pitchers are tired way too early.

I like the idea of generated pitch counts, but that really exaggerates the fatigue factor. I played a game with the Marlins with the "smart" generated pitch counts. Willis was done after 3. Then, even though up my relievers were warmed up, they usually started out with a 3-0 count. They were totally spent after an inning. Oddly, the CPU pitcher seemed to have mainly 1-2 counts for the full 9 innings. I no longer use generated counts.

I know ASB is more sim oriented, but I wish I could turn off the manage bull pen feature. It is just more micro-management than I want to deal with. Warming and replacing 6 pitchers in one game is not fun for me, it is tedius work.

In a way, it is nice not having to deal with Sliders. On the other hand, it sure would be nice to have a pitcher fatigue slider.

it does seem that with generated pitch counts your starter is toast by the 5th inning....ive stopped using it and now my starter seems good til the 7th or so, all depending on how hes doing in that particular case....as it should be

mine usually go 7 innings unless the get rocked. BUt they do fatigue a little too fast.

Are you tapping the pitch button or holding it down?

That seems to make a difference for me.

Sounds like ASB 2003 fatigue to me, which was good because my starters were empty by the sixth-eighth innings. In 2004, they increased it but with GPC I could get all the complete games I want (but I"m not that greedy).
