    That's TOTAL BS. I pitch almost exclusively down in the zone and dominate this game... and no, it's not rookie level either.

    I think you can be very successful pitching by the book in this game. I save high pitches for heat and sliders and keep everything else low and on the corners. My first game on All-Star (don't play there now), was a 5 hit shutout with Ortiz, so it can definately be done.

        Do you guys always try to hit the corners? Or do you try to mix it up in the zone as well?

                    I'm a corner guy. sometimes i will mixup a high fastball that's over the middle... but not too much. i hit the corners consistently and stay low. lot's 2 strike low curves and change-ups... throwing waste pitches seem to work pretty well...

                                Does the CPU hit differently on the lower pitch speed settings? I have been playing with the middle speed (classic). The CPU does't hit many dingers on me, but usually nickles and times me for about 20 hits a game.

                                Perhaps I would have better results on the sim speed, but I can't hit that stuff with the cursor.
