After extensive PT Major discrepencies I'm noticing

I really like All-star BB. With that being said there are things about this game that frustrate me. First of all Zone Hitting isn't done very well. I haven't hit a foul ball yet and Homers are too easy. Also pulling or slapping pitches down the line are next to impossible. This wouldn't be as frustrating except for the fact that the AI does this routintely. 2-D cursor hitting has better hit variety with foul balls hit straight back etc., but pulling and slapping pitches down the line is still too tough but not impossible. AI never hit hit foul balls straight back; very baffling. This game was definately set up to be a cursor game which is O.K. except for the way the cursor system is set up. Your cursor stops the second you start your swing. This makes pulling the ball very difficult given the speed of the pitches with faster more realisic pitch speeds. Yet the AI easily can turn on an OUTSIDE fastball an PULL it foul down the line. These discrepencies between AI and human are really bothersome for me. There is zero consistency even with foul balls. I am just very surprised and disappointed that a series like his can be around as long as it has without these obvious flaws being addressed by now. I refuse to use the ridiculous 3-D cursor because I don't find it even remotely realistic.

Yes, if there is any game out there that has failed to correct repeated, noted descrepancies, this is it. Not only did they not take out the crouch, windup throw by infielders, throw from the back of the head, they left in an entire array of bugs.

It keeps this game from shining.

ok im going to say what thousands of others have said.... there is no such thing as a bug less game... i dont care about the stuff that is wrong with the game.. it doesnt take away from my enjoyment of it one bit.. BECAUSE NON OF THE "FLAWS" AFFECT GAME PLAY!!!! case closed...

Try batting practice. Like it or not, ASB has a learning curve to it, for hitting. Spend sometime in batting practice and get to notice what the different pitches look like, and then see what happens. I am doing quite well batting. I am seeing foul balls down the line, shots into the corner and the such. This is probably the "most realistic" batting interface of any game.

What are u using for batting? I am using zone and having a heck of a time pulling the ball. I swing early and it goes up the middle. I might just need more practice...but damn if I am not trying hard to pull the ball.
