Can you draw walks in ASB? In MLB, it is impossible to draw walks!

Yes you can draw walks. Very realistic (not HH, but still good). I also agree that you are more likely to walk a batter as the pitcher in ASB than in MVP. It is pretty tough to throw a walk in MVP. The problem is that when you miss on the green, it will probably go down the middle and get smacked. It doesn't always go outside the strike zone where it would cause a walk.

I use the behind the pitcher view with no aids. Trust me, when you have a starter in the 7th or 8th, it is pretty tough to pitch to a tough hitter and throw strikes all the time.

If ASB just had HH's zone hitting and ball physics, I would be very happy. The Franchise Expansion Team mode is top notch.

Even with the aids off, it's still too easy to avoid walks in MVP. Unless you have a spasm, you'll always get the meter in the green. I like the idea of metered pitching, but it seems too accurate.

Matt, I find the opposite true. If you fill the meter to the red, you will not hit the green in MVP everytime. I'm walking more in MVP. In ASB, I can pretty much throw strikes anytime. I may groove one, but if I have a 3-1 count, I can throw a strike if I want. Not so in MVP. That's just my experience. Very little walks in ASB. I love both games, though. And, like you, I wish ASB had HH's zone batting.

You can throw a strike if you want in what inning? Maybe so in the early innings but late in the game with a tiring picher? No way - well, maybe you can throw a strike but you sure can't throw a strike where you want to. Heck, some pitchers can't even throw a strike where you want them to at the start of the game.

In MVP I can hit the green 98% of the time, red zone or not, and the effect is pin point accuracy no matter who the pitcher or what the inning. If you are having problems with the meter in MVP I suggest practicing your 32 bit golf swing.

For some reason, I'm not finding walks to be an issue in ASB. Yes, the pitcher's tiring has an effect, but I can still throw strikes when I want to. They may end up being fat pitches, but I seem to walk more in MVP (1-2 per game).
