I play a game every now and then , but mostly I just sim and examine all the box scores and make roster moves etc. How about you?

Same exact way.. Haven't made the upgrade to v6 yet, but I will be over the weekend.
OOTP Developments has joined SI games (championship manager - might be the best text sim out there, even though its soccer).
Look for OOTP v7 to be out of this world. -

So far, I've played every game with my team so far.
Last year I'd just sim for weeks at a time, but I lost interest fast that way.
I find it more fun to have a say in how each game is played and see how certain players perform in certain situations.
I know it takes alot longer to get through a season that way(I'm about a month into both careers I've started), but I find it more enjoyable.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

As people have said, you can play out every game, or sim a week at a time and check the results. But, the best thing to do is join a OOTP League, you'll be hooked instantly. I am the commissioner of one league and I am in 5 others.
