Arrrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm trying to like this game, and I do, until I go to play a game. It seems that the CPU is using a laser guided bat, because they CONSTANTLY hit doubles to the gap, and CONSTANTLY hit crappy pitches way better then I can!

My hits are nice tiny grounders, or wonderful pop ups while the CPU hits it everywhere my fielders a'int. My average hits against is probably around 15, while I average about 8 a game.

It is getting maddening! I'm playing on All Star, but the CPU seems to hit the same on all levels! Am I the only one sucking at this game? It seriously drains the fun out of it for me. I will never claim to be the best bball player, but this game seems rigged in the favour of my demonic Xbox...........

i have the same problem - today i threw a ball an inch out of the zone & the CPU took me the other way for a double. i constantly see the CPU get 15+ hits off me & all i do is hit weak popups or lazy flyballs to the OF..

I am loving this game. After switching from the 3d to the 2D, it has evend up the playign field. I was hitting the ball way too good on 3D so someone suggested it and I love it. As for the CPU hitting, I have not seen that problem as my total WHIP is a little over 1 right now. Now I dont get a ton of K's but knowing the hitter and where to put your D really helps. Also, once you get the timing down, diving and other extra fielding moves start to come naturally.

Turn off the pitching aid or strike zone. CPU hitters swing at more bad pitches that way.

I'm not using any aids, not even vibration.

I just find they get too much good wood on a junky pitch while it's impossible for me to do the same. I also find that they don't swing and miss enough.

A contact slider would do wonders........
