I haven't had this problem at all. I am the Rangers so you know my staff isn't that great. I really mix up my pitches though. I do my own shifts as well. use the hit chart to help your d get in position.

I'm not having this problem either. My staff ERA is between 2.8 and 3.00. I did notice a lot more hits when I bumped from All Star to Legend, and I occasionally give up a lot of hits if I get rocked. I'm not getting a lot of strikeouts, but I don't have a problem shutting the other teams down. I'm 13-4 with Horacio Ramirez and just pitched a 4 hit shutout. One thing I have noticed is that if you play on auto defensive alignment, the OF defense will line up IN for a lot of hitters. Unless it's a Tony Womack or Neifi Perez I usually change it to at least Normal. If I forget, that is usually where the "over the head" doubles begin to happen.

How do you do manual defensive positioning?

On Xbox, left trigger is infield, and right trigger is outfield. Keep tapping till you like the position. FYI, if you throw over to first your defensive alignment will reset and you have to start over again.

Ok, I'm trying to like this game, and I do, until I go to play a game. It seems that the CPU is using a laser guided bat, because they CONSTANTLY hit doubles to the gap, and CONSTANTLY hit crappy pitches way better then I can!

My hits are nice tiny grounders, or wonderful pop ups while the CPU hits it everywhere my fielders a'int. My average hits against is probably around 15, while I average about 8 a game.

It is getting maddening! I'm playing on All Star, but the CPU seems to hit the same on all levels! Am I the only one sucking at this game? It seriously drains the fun out of it for me. I will never claim to be the best bball player, but this game seems rigged in the favour of my demonic Xbox...........
