    Re: How Far Are You?

I just finished my first season tonight. Got knocked out in the NCLS w/ the cubs. Was down 3-1 in the series. Won game five on a waldoff homer. Won game 6 1-0 with Maddux pitching an absolute gem(12k's complete game 2 hit shutout). Lost game 7 3-2 Had the bases loaded in 9th and struck out

    On to the offseason.

im playing as my beloved a's. ive got the best record in all of baseball. 36-17 in mid jume. Jermaine Dye is batting .400+ and already has 104 hits every pitcher i have except one has no less than 6 wins. I am right now also riding a 12 game win streak. i have scutaro out with injury also hatteberg out until august at least. Graham Koonce is filling in greatly at first base. anyway im kicking some serious [censored]. also i dont think i have one player that is batting UNDER .290 or so.

I'm coming up on the All Star Break in my first year. I have played most of my games it just depends on who I'm playing my next series against. But I usually try to keep it even.

I'm in first place with the Red Sox with a 9 game cushion on the Yankees.

Manny Ramirez leads the AL in Average, hits HR's and slugging percentage. I have two pitchers with double digit wins and they are Curt Schilling & Byung-Hyun Kim. My bullpen is doing a decent job in keeping me in games for the most part.

Couple of games into May. After starting out strong I don't think anyone else in the NL West will be catching up soon. 24-1 thanks to 22 game winning streak start.
