Re: PYS on PS4?
Where have you seen that PYS is half way done because I haven't anything about PYS being in production let alone half way done.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

Re: PYS on PS4?
when i say half done, meaning, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 16 and Pro Yakyuu Spirits share the same stadiums, commentary and gameplay.
so technically it's half done. That's why i still believe....

Re: PYS on PS4?
Maybe it's just me, but PYS graphics have aged actually quite well. When I need to do a double and triple take looking at PYS footage, that's a very good sign.
Secondly, when it comes to the pursuit of recreating a true television style broadcast and seeing stunning realistic animations in all areas, PYS completely spoiled me. Going back to even play MLB the Show 16 for 5 minutes (or watching MLB17 youtube footage) feels like a monotonous chore. And to be truly honest, I completely stopped playing MLB the Show. Unfortunate because I absolutely love major league baseball.
Just having realistic player movement including pitching, fielding, throwing, running, swinging the bat, and simply overall player animations, subtle player movements, cut scene behavior, extremely subtle player nuances, dynamic and variable camera angle, tv style replay angles, and much more, pro yakyuu spirits is still addicting with extremely high replay value. Seeing gameplay footage of PYS is still always a breath of fresh air.
PYS reminds me all too much of NFL2k5 and even APF2k8. PYS just did so much right.

Re: PYS on PS4?
If only Konami would make an MLB game. That would be the day. I wish MLB the show would at least borrow PYS hitting mechanics, the hits feel so random in the Show, PYS you know exactly why you popped it up or fouled one off etc.San Jose Sharks
San Francisco Giants
San Francisco 49ers
Golden State WarriorsComment

Re: PYS on PS4?
PS4 - Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2016
PS3 - Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, PYS6, PYS5, PYS4
No one really knows if PYS will jump on board the PS4 wagon; any word about PYS coming to PS4 is only speculation; we're simply all hoping. PYS 2015 is the latest. Any of the PYS title that you can afford for the PS3 will play a fantastic game of baseball. If you want to play with international teams (world baseball classic), it's available on the PYS6 version.
All PYS and Jikkyou are imports; they were specifically made for the Japanese market, but they certainly work on my North American PS3 and PS4. Unfortunately there is no option for English menu. Everything is in Japanese. Use your google app translator to "sort of" navigate the menus.
Jikkyou for the PS4 is the "cartoonish" version of PYS. The animations are basically all the same. The gameplay is practically the same. Some can't get pass the cartoon and stick with PYS; others like me will play both games to satisfy their baseball itch.
Translation for both games to a certain extent are available via the following websites:

I am surprised that 2010 is not on your list. I like it better than all of the others to tell you the truth.Comment

Re: PYS on PS4?
That's what happens when you respond to post late at night, you lose a year.
Unfortunately, I never personally got a chance to play 2010. Picked up PYS06 and PYS2015, followed by Jikkyou Powerful Pro.
What's the advantage to 2010?Comment

Re: PYS on PS4?
Mobile game don't count. As much as I would like to see them continue the series on consoles until they do they won't. Must be a heck of a lot cheaper to do the the mobile game is my guess and Konami is all about doing it as cheaply as possible.well at least the game itself is still alive, as long as the games still alive i still have hope for future PS4 version............

Re: PYS on PS4?
Well after waiting 4 weeks for the game to arrive, i spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the main menu into a game, and couldn't. This was a bad ideaComment
