This year....
Seems all 3 games stepped up.
It was nice seeing in the pictures that Steve took of the Beta of 2k5 that you can turn all that corny stuff off and play "pure baseball" for game style. Seems like Kush was trying to make something that could appeal to everyone with Slamzone, showboating catches, ect and then saving the mass amount of sliders for the hardcore.
MLB on the other hand might not have the triple pass filtering that 2k5 has, but the batting stances, frame rates, and overall animation is awesome. Everytime I see a video I watch it all the way through since it's hard to believe how far video games have come from the Atari Baseball.
MVP's side modes for spring traning look nice and having gameplay that's been refined for 3yrs (which it shows in the videos) puts it on my list.
Right now I'm stumped.
Even if all the games were 19.99 (only 2k5 now) I'd still just own one since I don't have a ton of time to put into all 3. I've stilll got other games to play like WE8, NCAA CH, and other non-sport games.
Just curious to see what you guys are leaning towards.
Can't wait to hear everyone's feedback about the games in 5 weeks from now.
