For me it will be MLB2006 and MLB2K6(ESPN). Too many improvements to even mention(especially for MLB2006) for those two, while MVP seems to have just fixed what was broken last year(although that's a good thing) However, MVP just does not feel right to me. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's a good game, but it never felt like an actual baseball game to me. It always seemed rushed...like those artificial players had somewhere to go!...and fast!
I guess if I hear good things I will pick up the PC version of MVP eventually.
One thing that I'm noticing from this thread......alot of people have come to realize just how good MLB2005 was and are switching to MLB2006 for this upcoming season.
MLB2006 was better in the gameplay department than either ESPN or MVP...and had a great franchise mode. The just needed check swings, more walks and easier roster management. They have confirmed that these things are fixed...
they revamped the franchise mode. Added two camera seperate camera angles for batting and pitching AND added a true MANAGE ONLY MODE!!
While I'll give all three a chance.....it's going to be hours and hours of MLB2006 for me.

MVP. I'm not a big fan of the way that the ESPN game has played in the past. I might give it a rental somewhere down the road, but who knows.Comment
