Just received my copy today and played a exhibition game and lost 5-0. I had 2 hits and the CPU had 17 hits. I struck out about 12 times.

The animations are very good but I need translations and how to change camera angles.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was just about to PM you to see if you got your copy today as well.

First game I lost 15-0, but I started screwing around half way through anyways.

The opening menu is easy to navigate through, as it's obviously in English as well. But once I go from there, it's a bit more difficult.

For anyone else who get's this game, go right into training and get hitting and pitching down before you try an exhibition. Once I got the hang of everything, I won the second game 7-4.

It took me a few innings to realize that there is more then just aiming the pitch. Once it's thrown, you have to hit X again if you want your breaking pitches to actually break. It's all timing.

The hitting system is wonderful.

I still haven't found a way to change angles yet, I'll keep working on it.

I think there are 3 difficulties, but I'm not sure. Maybe some one who has an idea can clarify it for me. I picked the default/middle choice, and I'm guessing that is the Easy/Rookie/Whatever it's called mode because I went on to a 23-0 win.

I knew I should have stayed in the Japanese class when I was younger. Even so, this game is still great.

Do these games from play-asia work on the slim PS2?

No, you need to do a slight mod to get imports to work. A flip top works fine and they have it for the slim. My PS2 is modded and I play VB 2 and 3 on it.

before you click on the button, look under the URL address bar. Click on the button that have 日→英, then click on the button for the translation.

Why did you have to do that, now my last excuse for not buying this game. Play asia here I come and I have a 5 dollars coupon. I might pick up a table tennis game also. Yeah, I know, I am sick.

Glad people are happy with it. I'm gonna get mine soon (need some money). Can someone scan the manual booklet? I can try to help on some of the details ie: Name of pitches, Difficulty, setting innings, etc. When I got last year version I did a lot of research and can now navigate with a breeze. Hopefully, they haven't changed this years too much.

I found out by luck that pushing down on the right analog stick changes batting camera angles. Hopefully I can figure out how to change fielding views.

O: Oppisite Field/Slap hits

I think the rating system for Pitchers goes G, F, E, D, C, B, A, S. But don't quote me on that, I'm just going off the top of my head.

Cutoff man is R1.

Dive is Square, I think. They don't always make a full dive though if it's not needed.

I have no idea how to advance the runners. It's all CPU controlled until I figure out more.

It's kind of cool seeing all the former MLB'ers in the game.

triangle advances all runners, circle returns all runners

square advances individual runner

x returns runner

triangle and circle stops runners halfway, for pop ups and flys.

I started "Pennant" mode and saved after my 1st game. How do I continue my season? It asked me to load memory card and I said Yes but then it comes up with a screen with Japanese words and goes back to load menu.

Any help would be appreciated.
