I'm so underwhelmed with this game its not even funny. Just more proof that exclusive deals are bad for the gamer. The gaming industry is heading for a crash, oh well. I'm just so glad we have a crappy NFL game and now a crappy MLB game that is our only choice.

      I'm with you there.
There's no reason for 2K or EA to innovate anymore, and both genres are going to suffer for it.

I guess I'm looking forward to this for the 360, but I have to admit that it's more because I love baseball and want to play more sports games on the 360 - but the game itself at this point?

I'm not exactly waiting with bated breath.

I would think that is 360 footage if you look at the screens of Jeter his helmet is the wrong color a lighter blue.In that video the yankee helmets are the color they are supposed to be a dark blue(navy blue)

The thing though is it's not a next-gen game really... if that makes any difference. It's a current-gen game gussied up to look next-gen. Now, if 2K is still promoting this same gussied up game in a year or two as next-gen, then yes, that would be approaching terrible territory.

                        Re: Video of MLB 360

Mannnnnnnn, first post here in a while. Good to be back, I guess.

Anyway, about the BLT with the 360 clip. Looks pretty meh. I was actually pretty happy with the first few shots of Derek Jeter on the 360 that I saw in Game Informer a little while ago, but these moving clips weren't all that great. I think the faces probably were the best, but you couldn't tell all that much because it was pretty far off as far as the camera goes.

Also, having the same animations (ughhhhh, swinging animation is still bad) makes it seem like it's from the current generation. Definitely not knockout good like NBA 2k6, but not what we see on the current generation (which is pretty good IMO).

I'm still very interested in this game for the core gameplay and the pitching controls. And the presentation and commentary is shaping up awesomely, I'm very excited.

As for the WBC, when Canadians get the chance to thaw out, they're capable of remarkable things!

As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, And my eyes see beauty here!
I don't mind going out on a limb, I'm stoked!
The (360) players look 3 dimensional, there is depth there.

Their faces look outstanding! with good tone, features look very good! Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it's like there is an element of life behind their eyes.

The hands are in proportion with the body and look real, I've noticed that in past games the hands usually are too small. The hands seem more functional this year.

It looks like they replaced the fungo bats with real bats, YEA!

The player models have looked pretty good in the past. The animation last year was the thing that seemed to hold 2K5 back. Although we didn't get to see too much animation yet, what I did see (360) to me looked very good!
Very smooth. In the last scene I liked the way the batter admiringly watched
his hit sail away. I CANT WAIT!

Like the other current gen games, wouldn't this be a very early build for the 360? they can't be showing the final product, right?
