As much as I want a baseball game for the 360, I will wait b/c frankly, the baseball games made by 2K scare me anymore. Paying $30 is one thing, but dropping $60 on a game with so little media or impressions is another. I remember buying a Xbox just to play World Series Baseball, and being totally disappointed in the game. I really want the 360 version to be a good game b/c as we all know, it looks great, but gameplay is where this series has fallen short the past few years. I hope the date being moved is a good thing, and the developers feel the game is polished enough to release now. I am very content with The Show, but next gen baseball games is what will make my $400 360 purchase worth it. The sports games have been disappointing to this point on the 360 IMO, and 2k has had a part in that. Well, here is to hoping. I have been reading the impressions from the current gen consoles, and have seen a few nice additions to the series, so I will hold out hope that the 360 version is woth the money, but I know 2k sports all too well.

Im almost sure im getting it, It seems from what i have read. The only guys who really dislike it are the baseball hardcore fans..nitpicking at every single thing.
I think if you sit back and just enjoy the 360 version it should be pretty good.
I just hope a review comes tomorrow..Cause i wont buy it if they say its complete garbage -

Got it coming Wednesday. Worst case trade it back in before it loses too much value for Table Tennis, Top Spin Or Fifa.Note to Tiburon Marketing:

I'm going to buy it.
First, I'm sort of like baa7/bigfnjoe, helping needy developers recover messes that they put out by doing up dated rosters and fooling with all th sliders to get the game to play like it should.
Honestly, the Xbox I would NOT have purchased regardless and surely after reading all the comments that I have. Sounds pretty much like last year and glitchy. I'm REALLY happy with how The Show plays and could enjoy a 162 game season regardless of any other game (and that might include the 360).
However, I'm curiously pessimistic about this due to the lack of hands on from anyone pre-release, but feel that the game MIGHT be salvagealbe for us baseball nuts if it's just a pure port (with better graphics/animations). I'll give it an honest evaluation for all of you on the $60 fence. I'm sure I'll get it Tuesday and will not be a fanboy with my remarks, no "it sucks".Comment

Jim, I will be waiting for your impressions b/c I know you are a baseball sim lover! I really think as long as their aren't any game killing bugs, the game could be good. As many slider gurus are on this site, I have realized there aren't many games they can't make sim like!Comment

I would like to buy it but i'm holding off due to ll the negative press i've read about the Xbox/PS2 versions. If and that's a big 'IF' Kush fixes the problems in the 360 version and I read good things about the game then i'll buy it.
