ETA means estimated time of arrival. It says 4/10. I didn't want to debate it, just posted it for info. ETA does not mean ship date. If they got it wrong, fine. If they got it right, woot!

Yeah, whatever Gamestop's date says, expect it in stores the next day. ETA means when they expect it at their warehouse. Meaning stores will get it the next day.

I'm going to be waiting to see what people are saying first. I just don't want to throw out $60 on a game and have it be buggy. If it sucks, I'll go out and find MVP 2005 for the PC and just update that.

I'm surprised many of the long time gamers haven't seen the trend yet. Games almost always release on Tuesday!

I have already paid in full and am looking forward to Tuesday. I see that some people are waiting to see some impression threads and while that won't be necessary for me I do think it is wise. The last thing this board needs is another slew of "360 version sucks, The Show rules!" Most everyone should be aware by now of what can be expected from this game, an upgrade in graphics and animations. If the 360 package includes other upgrades that will be great. I just hope people don't expect it then come here and bash the game when it doesn't happen. Rent the game or come here and look for impressions from people like Jistic, Pared, Bgfnjoe among a few others that slip my mind at the moment. I have found these guys to be fair, honest and non-bias over the yeas. They also work hard on sliders. Hope you guys don't mind me giving you a plug.

Traded in my old fatty (read: likely soon to die) PS2 for it.

Loved last year's MVP for the most part, was luke-warm on this year's NCAA version, didn't really like the feel of this year's SCEA game, miss World Series Baseball. Really though, I'm just done with the PS2. It does not seem to have the lasting appeal that the NES, SNES, and N64 have had with me. I never got tired of playing those even when newer stuff came out. I was done with the PS2 last summer.

I plan on getting the 360 version on release date like jim and the other guys here. I am pretty certain it will be a good looking (graphically) game, that will have enough flaws to turn most away, but that can be fixed with time spent with the sliders. Given the slider selection this game will have, I am pretty sure that within a month or so we will be able to make the 360 version of 2K6 a great game (gameplay+graphics) that will keep the hardcore guys interested all summer.

Just my prediction..

I'm waiting until I get some impressions from others before buying it. I am happy with MLB '06 so, at least, I'm not stuck without a good baseball game. I really want this game to be great, but I'm being patient. Gameplay is where it's at and you can't tell how good it will be by watching videos. The annimations apparently need some work, but hopefully we can get past that.

For all of those thinking MLB 2K6 got pounded by the review scores, it is still rated slightly higher overall than MVP NCAA Baseball. Its only a few points though. I'm not posting this to start a flame war but just putting it out there for those that think this is the worst baseball game ever.

I will. Had this game preordered on December 28th from ebgames.com..Why??? Well, like many of you on here, I am a baseball junkie and this is the only baseball game on the 360..Cant wait!!
