i was a huge MVP fan and will continue to be so after this.

3 games, 3 freezes. updated rosters my a$$ (ben johnson started for the padres for a month last year and doesn't even make this year's game?).

i was so excited to finally get a baseball game on 360 and now i can't even play it.

Microsoft, i know 2k sports bribed you to not make a reverse compatibility emulator for MVP NCAA baseball, but please....we need a decent baseball game that works!

Ben Johnson not being in the game isn't a glitch. He's on their minor league roster in the game. At least he is on the roster update. But I do agree the rosters are in terrible shape, but those don't qualify as bugs or glitches.

Have not been able to get past the third inning. Feezes after a home run, trivia questions, between innings cut screen,

7 games, 7 freezes.....100 percent. Freezes to perfection.

Well, I survived the apparent 3rd inning glitch. Maybe I should get one of those t-shirts: "I SURVIVED THE MLB 2K6 THIRD INNING GLITCH!"

But I digress. I have another glitch though. I don't know if it's just the Cards or maybe something to do with their new stadium, and I didn't see the problem earlier, but am now. Whenever I try to do a pickoff move at first, I have done it three times now in the game, the ball simply just goes right past Pujols. He makes no attempt to catch it, the ball goes right by him and the runner goes to 2nd base. I don't know if this is a game killer, but it's pretty annoying.

This might be your problem, but if you hit one of the sticks during a pickoff, it changes the direction of the ball being thrown. In other words, if you press up during the pickoff, the ball will be thrown higher. Press down, the ball will be thrown lower and increases the chance of a wild throw.

It's explained better in the manual.

Mine is also freezing, always between innings. Can't get through 2 full innings without freezing. Never had a problem with any of the other 5 360 games that I have. I hope they get this fixed as I am enjoying this game.

Well, I just reformatted my hard drive and no more freezes. Just played 2 games with no problems.

Sadly the wild pitches are out of hand again. Usually when a runner is on base. I threw 5 in the 1st inning alone. What was the fix for this last year ?

Another thing that bothers me is most all the time the pitches go no where near where I aim.

go to the system tab and click on "storage devices" (I think that is what its called). highlight your hard drive and press "Y" and is will ask you if you want to reformat. You'll have to recover your xbox live user name afterwards.

After rebooting it still did it, couldn't swing the bat, even tried another controller to make sure my A button hadn't gone bad.

Now I'm trying a game CWS @ STL to see if it'll let me swing.

Still not letting me swing, I'm wondering if it could be due to I made some roster moves before this game (because it was working flawlessly before I added a few guys to the Cardinals who really play for them but aren't on the team, I'll go back to the default rosters and try again).

Well upon reloading my default rosters its still not letting me swing the bat, looks like I'll be making a run for a new copy tonight.

You swing with the right thumbstick not the A button. Try using the right button. Or changing your controller configuration.
