The away Jerseys for Boston, in the picture shows BOSTON on it .. in the game it says RED SOX on them like the HOME JERSEYS, and they are not a dark enough grey (very very light, almost white).

It is supposed to say BOSTON .. this breaks immersion so much. LAME LAME LAME!

And why does Ortiz look Jacked up? Skinny and messed up. Also Fenways dugout for Boston Home team is the only one glitched where players are clipped through the wall and not on the benches. (visitors sideis fine)

I swear, too much Jeter/Yankee love in this game where they pooped on Boston. HOW CAN YOU MESS UP THE JERSEYS?

On a side note... the 360 not powerful enough for pitchers in the bull pens?

They should recall it on the jersey error alone, that is NOT authentic MLB!

(sorry for the rant, but my goodness, MLB06 The Show has it right and that is previous gen PS2)

Yeah, 2K pays no attention to detail. Many people will think that its complaining but they overlook so many minor details that it become a big issue. I played 1 game and that was enough for me, this crap is going back tommorow. This is the worst excuse for baseball I've seen in a long time, its just about as bad as Triple Play was back in the day. In the one game I played I noticed that the Cardinals away helmets had an all white STL. In real life its red with a white outline. Again, this sounds very minor but combined with the fact that is says Red Sox on the away jerseys for Boston and doubtlessly uncountable other erros this game sucks, period.

yeah they have yet to get the mets uni's right the past few years!! blue hats with the alt black jerseys lol come on small things make a big diff while playing a game IMO

Well it looks like I will just get the PS3 version of MLB The Show when it comes out next year (I am sure they will make one, they seem to have got everything right for the PS2 and PSP version), and I will stick with the PSP version of The Show for now (dont have a PS2), and just play MLB2K6 this "exclusive MLB license" in the leagues.

No Boston on the away jersey, just, plain, sad!

They did the same thing with the Reds unis... wrong hats/helmets in all of them.

And man, WTF is wrong with the player models??? I saw what they did with Big Papi... that's ridiculous.

Like I said, its these little things that add up to be a big problem. All of this things that are overlooked say volumes about the development team for 2K baseball. This game is so terrible. With Madden, I can at least justify that it may be a good game with the features put back into it, but with this its just plain awful. Add to the fact that this is the ONLY "next gen" baseball game and it makes me want to throw the disk like a ninja star through the TV screen.

I really like the game although I do agree about the uni's.. for the past few years they have the mariners with green billed batting helmets.. WTF? Years ago....

I have 2K6 queued up in my gamefly queue but I'm not liking what I'm hearing so I think I'll pocket my $60 and stay with the Show for my PSP it plays pretty well. I've adopted a No Ports philosophy with my 360, I'm just so damn tired of ports. They are charging a Premium price for games and not building them from the ground up like Oblivion, The 360 is capable but I'm no longer rewarding lazy developers

In all honesty I like this game so far. I just wish it didn't freeze all the time. My friend had the same problem, he reformated his HD and hasn't had one since. It's a shame that we have to do this.

On the Astros red alternate jerseys the numbers are red too! Dont believe me? Does it sound too stupid that it cant be true!? Look!!! Its rediculous. It wouldnt be that big of a problem if I wasnt forced to stare at my pitchers back every inning.
