I experienced my first game freeze today after starting a new GM career today in the third inning after I plunked a guy. Good thing the patch is coming out tomorrow. After this freeze I put nba 2k6 in and now I get still pictures at halftime instead of video highlights. This has never, ever happened before until mlb froze. Why would this game freezing affect other 2k games?

After this freeze I put nba 2k6 in and now I get still pictures at halftime instead of video highlights. This has never, ever happened before until mlb froze. Why would this game freezing affect other 2k games?

I had the same problems as you did with the NBA2K6 once this game started giving me problems.

Last night for the first time ever MLB2K6 froze on me. Then it froze 3 games in a row.
I was frustrated so I popped in CHoops and got the "jumpball" freeze. So now both games are unplayable. hooray

Dam, that is terrible man. The problems MLB has caused just keep getting worse. Hopefully their patch is a miracle cure that fixes the freezing issues with all of their 360 games. Since it's fixing the problem with MLB my theory is that somehow it will fix freezes with other games as well, at least I'm hoping so.

BTW, I'm going to start my franchise over with another team. I can no longer be the Marlins as a fan of the team after I heard they offered Dontrelle Willis to the Mets. That is the last straw with me. The payroll is low enough and they tried to unload one of their only stars, unbelievable.

Lionsfan, i was in the same boat on Sunday. MLB 2K froze on me but only when I hit the guide button while I was saving. Also, College Hoops started giving me **** the same day after not having any problems with the CH Patch. I started a game and got the jumpball thing. I had a memory card since I bought the xchange kit so I just saved all my files to it and reformatted by HDD and I don't have any problems anymore.

On their site in the forum they posted that the patch is supposed to be out by the end of the day today, April 26th.
