.....sell this piece of crapola back...or better yet, get a full refund. You should be able to do this due to the high volume of complaints.

With the $65, put it towards a PS2 and MLB '06 The Show. Trust me you won't be disappointed. I hated that I had to regress in consoles, but I simply cannot put The Show down. As a matter of fact, I am now completely sold on getting a PS3, BECAUSE OF THIS ONE GAME!

I don't mean to rant, and I'm not trying to get flamed. I just wanted to exercise my opinion on this matter because I feel like we got taken advantage of. There is no excuse for this title to be sold for $65. Freezing is one thing, but once you maneuver around that inconvenience, you have to deal with bug after bug after bug. I found a fix for the freezing and slidered the sh*t outta this game. It still doesn't matter. I agree with Fossen's review 100%. Hell, I thought he was being generous.

In closing, I want to thank my fellow posters at OS for their opinions on The Show. I now have a sweet baseball game instead of a $65 frisbee.

normally i shrug at the site of a post like yours and watch from a distance, but i seriously have a passionate hatred for this game like never before. i feel ripped off, tricked, whatever. i cants stand this. i have never been like this before about a video game. i cant agree with you more and im prob going to check out the show as well, i just have to pick up a ps2.

I'm not going that far but I will have to revisit my decision of whether i'm going to get a PS3. Probably won't at launch, but I will by the time their next baseball game comes out.

I appreciate the sarcasm bk..lol....but I just think after playing both games, it isn't even close. I am still trying to figure out why a baseball game on a console(that is in the beginning stages of extinction) plays better than on a console that is next-gen?? Crappy development maybe?? Good enough for me.

If some folks like 2K6, more power to you, enjoy.

I've said many times The Show is definitely a better more accurate baseball game, but I am still having fun with 2k6. I guess I am at the point where certain things don't bother me. I just don't find the need to tell people what games they should play and what games they should give up on.

BK, did you get any freezing? Mine started going wacky today and I couldn't fix it. So I just decided to take it back and I'll wait to see what the patch does upon release.

For all I know, the patch could make this game play entirely different. But since that time I have discovered The Show(thanks to OS)and will not go back to 2K6 again, except for their basketball title.

My biggest concern with the patch and knowing 2k6, is that it will screw things up worse.

The game is decent..I enjoy it, cause I'm just a casual BB fan..But theres still a lot to complain about from a technical standpoint..Animations are still piss poor.. Why does the ball float? Thanks for recyling last gen animations to the 360 version.Stil choppy as hell..

I hear ya. NBA 2K6 started freezing on me now for some reason.

You're going to need to format your drive in order to play NBA2K6 correctly again. Once I played MLB2K6 I was unable to get past the half with any game of NBA... which seriously ticked me off as I was some 30 games into my season.
