It would be nice, but I doubt we'll see it until a week or so before release.

I think from a marketing standpoint, that's the best time to release a demo.

HYPEWAGON",moving,plus I am "jonesing" to play some baseball on the 360

The Fight Night 3 demo was released months before it's initial release date. Why not MLB 2K7??

It would be a great way to promote the game and create the buzz for 2K Sports.

I agree. I'd love to play a 2K7 demo right now to see how the game is playing. It looks great, but I'm still interested to see how it plays.

Even a 3 inning demo would be great IMO.

What if 2K doesnt offer a demo for the game before it's release ?? I for one will be extremely cautious and concerned about the quality of gameplay if for some reason we dont see a pre-release demo !!!

Not trying to rain on anybody's parade but here's some food for thought.

What I'm thinking is that 2K knows they dropped the ball last year with 2K6 and if the gameplay of this years version is not much improved then they may not want us playing 2K7 beforehand. If it's still majorly flawed in the area of gameplay, a pre-release demo could build some negative hype culminating in low sales.

They have stated that this is a 2-4 year project so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I forget but did we see a demo last year before the game dropped??

They are. They finished development probably a few weeks ago to get a jump-start on a demo, and then come early to mid February they will probably begin 2K8.

I'm expecting we can see a three-inning demo from a playoff game last year.

i dunno if adventure games release their demos earlir or later, but it jus came out last week n its due out the 20th of feb so maybe like 2 or 3 weeks be4 release is my guess

you see man, you have a problem, why do you feel the need to respond to everyone who posts something "not positive" i mean did he say hed be happy if the game wasnt released? did he say that the game would have bad gameplay? NO! he gave his opinion on what is going through the minds of developers in reguards to releaseing or not releasing a demo. man. even if he didnt want the game to be released, its his opinion and it should be taken in the same reguard as someone's opinion who is thinking the game will bbe awsome or likes what they see.

The NBA 2K7 demo came out about ten days before the game was released so if there's a MLB 2K7 demo it'll probably be released about the same time. I'm guessing we'll see it in the last week of February.

I would expect to see a demo around mid Feb. But like one of the other posters said if there is no demo than i would worry of gameplay issues.But i don't think that will happen(no demo)plus one of the guys that posts on this board said he had played it at the CES show and he said it played pretty good

guarenteed 100% to be a demo before release. They need people to trust them again.
