How many teams can you control?

I don't like creating a thread just for this question but I looked all over these threads and couldn't find an answer.

Will it be 4 again like last year or did they increase the number?

I alos hope they keep the playoffs mode in.

Thanks Blzr. I couldn't find that info on the 2k site. Where is it confirmed?

Also, you think Playoffs mode will be back.

Well, 4 teams is better than 2. I can follow my team and 3 others. That's a big difference than just following my team and 1 other (like in the Show).

Brinkman confirms it on the 1UP Blog Q&A.

I don't know about Playoff mode. Sorry.

Re: How many teams can you control?

Some games have a diff. number you can control in season mode vs. the number you can control in franchise mode.

Was that the case in 2k6?

Since the show isn't giving us total team control either I guess its back to HH 04 (if i want all my needs/wants fulfilled) or I have to find a copy of mvp 05 on PC.

Jim, if I find a copy I'll be looking for a cpu with specs like yours since you run the game and all its mods w/out problem.

Meanwhile, I will try both the show and 2k7 on Ps2 to hold me over until April.

When the show releases I'll chose between PS3 and 360 for my next gen console.

I'm rooting or 2k7 to be good b/c control over 4 teams is better than control over 2 (which is what show will probably offer on ps3 since that's what we're getting on ps2). Plus 36o has rts games.

So I'm not allowed to boo them for the high strike zone (something that isn't realistic to the MLB), but you are able to boo that you aren't allowed to be Bud Selig?

So you mean you want to be able to play as any of the teams (all of them)?
You can still make all the trades and stuff for all the teams, do the call ups and send downs, etc.

Here we go again, Inkcil. We seem to be the only two people on the planet who really give a crap about this feature. I guess I'll go without a baseball game for the second year in a row. For me, I like to have the ability to play with any team in my franchise. I like being able to play or watch the World Series or LCS even if my team isnt involved.

Inkcil, this just does not seem to be a priority for game companies. It seems like EA is the only company that realizes that this is an important feature fro some of us. Live, Madden and NCAA all have that feature. 2k only includes it in College Hoops.

I like being able to control all the teams too, but thats not going to stop me from getting this game. But it would have been nice,

Yeah thats my point. Its not a gamebreaker for most people. If it was it would be in the game.

I'm a little confused. Is this possible when you only can control a max of 4 teams?

Yeah that would cool. I like to control all the teams. Like NFL 2k did. But oh well.
