Some fans were bigger then other fans in some stadiums. lol
I think that all of those seats help define the massiveness of the stadium. Also remember that they don't just have that many seats to fill up the same distance as it does in 2K, but more distance. I don't think that makes too much sense... but it does in my mind.

I don't know. All I know is that anybody here could tell you that they really felt the massiveness in ASB with their stadiums. How they did it? I don't know. Maybe it's because of what I said, and maybe not.

ASB didn't feel massive to me, but what they did feel was real. With all that detail they had. I don't think they look that big, but I do remember when they came out they used more (I can't remember the word) of it then other games stadiums. It was polygon or something like that they used like 40,000 and the other games used 15,000.

Okay, well I'm going to do the best I can here... and if this doesn't convince you, nothing will.

Here's a shot of Dodger Stadium in All Star Baseball 2003 (apologize for the graphics in front):

Look at not only the number of seats, but just how freaking large the bleachers are. I don't know about you, but I would feel like it were an accomplishment if I even hit it halfway up that in a video game.

Now, look at MLB 2K7's representation of Dodger Stadium (and its fan size and/or the number of rows or just the size of the bleacher section):

I mean come on man... the difference isn't even close. 2K7 by far has much smaller stadiums, regardless of the size of the field itself. It really gives me a rewarding feeling when I reach a part in a ballpark on All Star Baseball, and I sometimes rent ASB 2004 just to play home run derby in ballparks and try to reach new things. It's that fun. The same can't be said on 2K7, and it actually pisses people off when they hit 500 foot shots out of stadiums.

You and you pics and vid. I know what what you mean! lol I still feel like it is squashed together.

Plus there is no leg room what so ever I mean how do they get through to their seat

Okay... well squashed together or not, the point that I'm trying to make is that whether they need to shrink the seats in size AND add more seats or just add more seats, the stadiums just aren't big enough.

Agree, but still not a problem for me. I don't have that much time to play the game or count the seats . I'll leave that to you bro!

well , after seeing this pic

i must say ASB got the bleachers way too big too. so i would take 2k for the most acurate.

Guarenteed it had to do with framerate...Having those stadiums with people moving all around has to be taxing on the system. We're not dealing with one flat surface of fans...these are actual moving polygons.

They did get them too big, but I would take big over small. Makes home runs much more rewarding when you reach a far away spot.

Also recall that was All Star Baseball 2003. I'm sure they got it better by '05.

Besides, looking at that photo, 2K still has half of the number of rows. There is still a problem with that.

Come on bro! Think about what you are saying there so squashed together you cant even see if you hit it in section 2 or 42. Plus in ASB I hit some shot in that game and they went a mile, very unrealistic.
