Jim, I think you're 15 minutes is too generous.

After seeing some of the short stop ratings, I'm sure there are a few people who already want to see 2K release an update

I wasn't aware of that. These ratings can be changed by editing I'm sure.

Honest to gosh I don't see how some of these people enjoy life the way they freak out at a video game. Look what the mods did for MVP, a game made by professional developers. They made it 100 times better. We can do it with this game. More restrictions, but the graphics won't need it (unless the wrong size font on a jersey makes you crazy), global editing and individual editing should help some, my opinion.

As long as the gameplay is tightened up, then 2k7 should be successful.

Thats right. I play EA games therefore I must just be "trolling" in the 2k forums.

For your info, I play the 2k series games as well as EA so that argument is null and void.

Re: This game had better be flawless

What amazes is me is that no one is actually reading my post. At least I don't think. Ok, I used a bad choice of words for the title, saying that the game should be flawless.

what I am getting at is the fact that this game should not have any major issues with it(unlike last year). I say this because 2k is set on bringing this game out now. I am hoping that this game will not have any major issues, although one has been pointed out(pitchers tiring too fast). Hopefully that will be fixed, or can be fixed with sliders.

I want this game to be good because I too am excited to play this game. Its baseball. I love baseball. I just hope that it isn't "unplayable" because of nagging issues that could have been dealt if 2k would have waited to bring the game out. This is the ONLY baseball game for 360 owners. I would think that you would want it to be as great a simulation as it can.

Personally I don't know what the big rush is to get a baseball game out this early anyway. Even if it is great I probably won't play it regularly until the rosters are updated after opening day. But maybe that's just me.

That's why I'll be renting it...and it won't even show up in my queue until at least the end of March / beginning of April. It's a long summer with very little in the way of sports releases...and I'll have plenty of time to play then.

Well, start posting in the roster thread to help me out. Must be some obscure, new player you want in the game.

Well, if your choice of words were wrong, we'll see how long it takes you to post your first flame, or not. The problem is "major issues". What is a major issue to most people? With many it's wrong font color, wrong sky color, swing follow through doesn't look right, why didn't they fix the running, why didn't they do this or that, etc., etc.

I still suggest you don't buy the game for a few days.

I appreciate the fact that everyone in here assumes that I am trolling.

Major issue is the game being unplayable. Whether that be because of pitchers tiring too fast, gameplay just stinks, or what have you.

All that I am getting at, again, is that I will be extremely disappointed if this game is "unplayable" because 2k is releasing this game fairly early. [b]I am really looking forward to playing this game as I love baseball games.

Again, I know that MLB '07 The Show is coming out this week as well, but The Show has a better rep on it now and doesn't need as much "polishing" as 2k does from last year's effort.

Again thanks for assuming I am a troll.

I was asked what would make the game "unplayable".

Anything from the thread "Main Problems from 2k6" that is not fixed in the game would be a huge disappointment.

Don't buy the game on the first day. It's as simple as that. Then you have nothing to complain about. Isn't that easier?

                                I am not complaining.

I am just saying that I hope the game is not as bad as last year and that they have fixed the major issues from last years game. Thats it.

Why are you assuming that I want the game to fail?
