Why wasn't this an issue a couple of month's ago when Brinkman came str-8 out & said it? Many people on this board said "they had NO PROBLEM" with it. Now all of a sudden people are complaining & whining.

Where were you people a couple of month's ago ?

If they really wanted to please the customers, they should have considered(and maybe they did...who knows...) offering customers some kind of incentive for those that purchased that weed plate/beverage coaster from last year, some kind of discount towards this years game. I'm not entirely sure how they could have pulled that off, perhaps anyone who registered their plate/coaster from last year, recieve a 20% discount towards this years offering...who knows....I'm just offering my thoughts here....

This whole thread is somewhat funny to me. It IS good however to see that some folks here are "waking up" in terms of not just throwing their money at these companies.

Oh and about Madden, last year was the first time since the Sega Genesis that I did not purchase that game. It would have been another year, another coaster....

Remember, they have been honest with us and told us that they have a 3 year plan to get this to be the best experience we've ever had. This is only year 1. expect some quirks, bugs, etc. Based on the demo, it still should be pretty good.
I look at it from the standpoint that any improvements than last years game is a huge step in the right direction.

People are all over the place which is funny with this game. They were busting a *** when the initial movies and screen shots were released. Now their complaining.

I was the complete opposite, I was pessimistic at first until we saw some vids, and even had doubts in my mind that the game was going to be good until I played the demo last night. WOW! What a nice improvement that they made over last years game. I will eat my words now.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I just heard of this "3 year plan" and wasn't hanging around on these boards as much at that time. I generally come back around release time for some of the games to gleen info and then fade back out.

So, no, I'm not really digging their "plan".

I think they are being realistic stating their goals moving forward. I would much rather have someone be honest and say that 3 years from now this game may be the game we have all been waiting for rather then them add some stupid gimick mode and not fix the core gameplay issues like some other sports titles do on a yearly basis. I dont know, maybe some folks expected this game to be HH, mvp, and the show all rolled up in a neat package in 1 development cycle under Brinkman. Granted this game has some flaws but FWIW I am enjoying the game and think that it will give me the fix I need during the long season.
I agree, and after buying the game and playing it this afternoon, I really think it's worth the money. I'll be playing this for a good amount of time.

I just think 3 year plan isn't necessary information for the consumer. It's a good plan to go by. Many businesses have a 3, 5 10 year plan.

I love the game, so it's no big deal for me, and I look forward to next-year and the year after.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

lol funny thing I predicted these types of posts or "mentality" a mile away..which really is never a good sign.
I hope the game is shaping up ok
Any chance we will see EA Sports MVP for Xbox360 down the line?
