Re: PS3 or X360
man i would suggest one thing, pick the one that you are more familiar with the controller...casue other than that its only superficial stuff that wont count in the end of the day...---------------

Re: PS3 or X360
I would like to get the ps3 version just to mess around with the six axis controls... but ive read in alot of places they are garbage. The problem is that it's so hard to get solid info these days with such expensive game machines it seems that people who only own one of them want to constantly trash the other. So on other boards (like IGN... blech) I have no idea if the guy who says they look and play identical is correct... or the guy who says "xbox sux ps3 roolz" or the guy who says "ps3 sux xbox rawx."
Well im smart enough not to trust the later two... :P But id hate to go grab the ps3 version and then read on here from trustable people that I made the wrong choice.
And the other problem is that im not patient. Hehe. Ill probably get the ps3 version today > <Comment

Re: PS3 or X360
ive heard the 360 is better graphically over the ps3 version, that's why i opted for the 360 version. I'll pickup The Show for ps3 later in april.Comment

Re: PS3 or X360
Slighty better/worse graphics i can live with. Horrible unplayable slowdown and the like I cant. But, to be honest, all the reports of that seem to be coming from 360 fanboys. After reading through the ps3 impressions thread here im gonna go for it just for the chance to experience a whole new control scheme (even if i end up turning it off forever after 5 mins like im sure i will... hehe).
Part of me almost wants to buy both so I could post a definitive comparison... but im not that rich :PComment

Re: PS3 or X360
i would like to know for sure which one is better too, 'cause some of the jerky/laggy gameplay of the 360 version can be a little irratating. If the ps3 version plays more fluid then I might buy that one.Comment

Re: PS3 or X360
I have both and got to play both last night. The game is really the same on both systems. The graphics are really pretty close--the 360 seemed a bit brighter but that's really it. Gameplay was exactly the same. I agree with one of the posters earlier--get the one for the controller you feel most comfortable with.
I will spend most of my time with the PS3 (I just like the controller and the quiet of the system better), but online will be spent with the 360. If you have other questions about the two, fire away.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Re: PS3 or X360
Well, I got the ps3 version so i can now compare it to the 360 demo.
First off ill say that they look different. The first thing to stick out to me is the grass... on the ps3 its just kinda a blurry green texture and on the 360 it has a bit more detail. Not alot of detail, mind you, but definitely more than the ps3. But, the rest of the PS3 graphics *pop* alot more (on my set, atleast). The players look sharper as do the stadiums.
Im running both in 720p. I havent tried 1080i (nor do I even know if its availible for the ps3).
From a gameplay standpoint the game definitely plays better on the ps3... it just feels more polished. BUT, im betting the final version of the 360 version does also. The camera in the ps3 version is less jerky and the game just feels smoother. But, again, I think that's because the 360 demo is early.
The grass thing is a major bummer since thats what takes up the majority of the screen 99% of the time. But the rest looks nicer. I could see fanboys from either system arguing that their version is OMG TOTALLY BETTER... but in reality beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I prefer the ps3 look but that is probably because i bought the ps3 version... :P
Like i said earlier the gameplay is alot smoother on the ps3, but it would be better to talk to favre4vr about that one, for sure.
*edit*
Also, i cant make any rhyme or reason of the 6axis swinging. I do indentical swings and sometimes my dude will swing and sometimes he just stands there. Im guessing this will end up being a bunk feature... but hopefully someone can figure it out and describe it in words for the rest of us... hehe.Comment

Re: PS3 or X360
I have both consoles, but got the 360 version for two reasons.
1. Most of my friends are still on XBL.
2. 99% of the guys at OS that will make all the roster updates, and all the that stuff, are at least of now 360 guys, which means all that stuff wlll be up for 360 quicker imo.Comment
