Lineup Fix yet ????

Has anyone figured out how to at least stop certain players from batting lead off ??? Seems it has to do with L and R batting lineups.

Well, I'm not putting much stock in this, but there was an updated roster today that fixed the salary issues and added a few more free agents.

Dated 2/28. I don't know if that fixed it or not. I didn't have a chance to dl it.

It won't be fixed unless they go through and re-rate all of the players. The AI doesn't know that Ichiro should be a lead-off hitter. What the AI does know is how Ichiro's ratings compare to the rest of his team and it bases lineup decisions on those ratings.

Anyone try the other issues, like stars in AAA after injury or stars being signed as FAs then beign sent to AAA? I didn't load the first update after hearing the salary problem so I want to see if I should bother now.

If you go to "management" and then "lineups" they are all correct. Once you start a season/franchise they change.

p.s. the new roster update doesn't correct this. but I am !!!!!


Here is what I am going to do..........I am going to write down the lineups, start a season and see who is moved. Then I am going to the lab and adjusting ratings one team at a time. I shouldn't have to adjust but 2 or 3 guys at most. From experimenting so far I think it has something to do with the players L vs R handed ratings. Now I have an up to date roster file that I am going to make the changes on. Once I get this crap figured out I am going to edit my up to date roster and re-release it.

p.s. don't worry, I am not going to hurt or help these players ratings too much.

If you are going to do that use my INJURIES OFF roster that has all the fielding attributes adjusted. It will save you some time.

You can't USER control all teams, just four. Two years ago you could and it was great, but somebody decided to take that out.

Jim, how up to date is your roster with fielding ratings adjusted ??? Mainly the FA list ????


Right now I am focusing my energy on the lead off spot. I would guesstimate that its only about 1/4 of the teams with the wrong lead off guy when you start a season/franchise............. Once I get that done I will look at any other lineup issues.
