Re: No wind!
So when you do this scheme you are talking about; do you mean that you will be going in and out of your franchise to change the wind in exhibition mode for your franchise? That sounds crazy. It isn't that bad due to how fast you can move around on the 360, but crazy that you have to do all that. They call me "The Manual"Comment

Re: No wind!
yeh...i think i will do that scheme too..but i guess i will play 2 games in a row, isntead of 1 game and change the setting. and offcourse think about the city where iam playing...like in chicago is windy almost all the time...so i may play windy, windy, breezy, breezy and than one game calm...
unfortnatly i am not from the states, and besides chicago, san francisco and phoenix, i dont really know how the weather usually works in the other cities...maybe we could do a list...
casue the wind plays a big role in this game...by increasig the error numbers..and affecting the HRs/flyballs depending on the wind direction.---------------

i think this one of those bugs that could be EASILY solved with a pacth, but i wont get my hopes high...havent hear nothing about a pacth coming for this game.Last edited by brunnoce; 03-30-2007, 01:15 PM.---------------

Re: No wind!
I've seen rumors on the 2K forum of a patch around Openning Day, and one of the Moderators there has made a couple of posts implying he expects a patch at some point. Last year they did release one patch (small bug fix), and I hypothasize that they did not release anything else simply because they recognized that 2K6 was a hopeless wreck not worth fixing. They release 2K7 early, I suspect (or at least hope) with the intention of patching those bugs they could not fix prior to the accelerated release date.Comment

Man...I hope that's one rumor that is true. That all makes sense and there is no reason why they shouldn't patch this puppy especially if they are trying to get a bit of respect back after last year's debacle.
I'm really hoping this is going to be true......Comment

Re: No wind!
the franchise line ups fix would be the most important for me together offcourse with the ERA bug when runs coming from walked players.
also one thing that would be nice, but i doubt they can simply pacth it , would be the possibily to change the CPU jerseys before a franchise game...its nice to see diferent uniforms now and than.---------------

Re: No wind!
have you guys find a way to play indoor in stadiums like safeco and chase field in the franchise?
i didnt evan know they have closed roof in 2k7 until today when i went to play a exibition game with arizona. so that explains when sometimes they say "today we are gonna play with the roof close" so it was supposed to be close, but liek the wind , this is bugged too...
i tried to do the same as we did witht he weather conditions, set in exibition indor in safeco or instance, than back to franchise to play seattle in the As opener at safeco, but it didnt work...it was still open roof...
if someone could find a way to work this it would be really nice;;;;or maybe can someone confirm if when its a rainning day in those stadiums they close the roof , or do they have rain outs like the roofless stadiums?---------------

Re: No wind!
yeh man..there should be a way around this glich...i never thougt about that, because i didnt evan know there was the indoor option in exibiton mode...i was just, WTF, so thats why joe morgan says "tonight wera gonna play with the roof closed"...now thats something to be adressed in a pacth...there must be some buggy code that does not allow the cpu to change the game weather conditions(wind) in franchise mode...and this causes offcourse the game not to select the indoor option---------------
