I've actaully been able to play both at 720p and the 360 version IS the better version the game easily.better lighting better colors /contrast and not jaggy. PS3 is fine but the detail is bad whereas the 360 detail is gorgeous

well from what ive gathered in the internet from many users...the only real diference is that the 360 has the self shadowing in players..while the ps3, strangly doesnt. that can also be notice in the videos all ove the net.
but if i still had my ps3, i gues in the end of the day i would buy the version in which i like the controller better, as i like the 360 controller , thats what i would choose(actually i choose , casue it came down to this game to sell my ps3 and not my 360, i couldnt keep both)

There's definetely a difference...

No self-shadowing on the PS3, and the crowd models, when using the pitcher cam, aren't done quite as nicely.

Don't get me wrong, either version looks great, but you do have to give the nod to the 360 this year.

I have played both and think the ps3 version is better. I own a 360 and ps3. I just like hitting with the sixaxis better. Graphics are virtually the same.

I agree with uconn. The sixaxis hitting is quite fun although there is quite the learning curve. I don't seem to have the same hitting problems as most on these forums as I don't see tons of homeruns. I don't know, I guess its just a matter of taste. I have both systems, and I like them equally. But I will say one thing..........DON'T BUY A SYSTEM BASED ON THIS GAME ALONE, IT'S NOT THAT GOOD OF A GAME!!!!!. Buy a system based on what you like. The PS3 gives you another choice for most sports games, because SCEA makes their own games. The XBox360 has a different controller that takes time to get used to if you're familiar with the PS2 controller. Both systems have their pros and cons, and it is up to you to decide which is best for you.

i disagree speels, i had always been a playstation user, untill this game came out i wanted a next gen console. i bought an xbox b/c theyre cheaper, and ive heard this game is better on 360 . ( i dont play alot of games, so i bought this console soley for this game) the biggest turn off was the controller, however after playing, ive realized its set up almost exactly the same as the ps2 except the left analog stick and the d pad are switched, and the names of the buttons are different. the controls are very similar to mvp on ps2. took getting used to it very easy.

I DONT have them both.. BUT i have the 360 version and my cousin has the ps3 version. Sorry too bust your lil bubbles, but the 360 looks better and runs better, hands down....deal with it.

Fanboys are just an amazing bunch, i must say.

He's probally just pissed off in spending 6 bills on a machine thats producing subpar performance comapred to a lesser expensive 360..that or he's just an all out sony fanboy...see'm all over the net

You dont think I own a 360 and have went through 6 of them ceck my gamertag its zerotolerance77 and its the same on the ps3.I cant stand people who try to act like tough guys over the internet.
