There seems to be awful lot of waffle on here when 3 words will simply do

    Throw more balls.

With the Holy Grail Sliders, I faced Roy Oswalt of the Astros against my Cardinals. He threw 108 pitches in 8 innings before I managed to get to him and force them to go to their bullpen. They ended up winning 3-1.

okay, so i used bulls23 sliders as a base. however, i've modified them heavily just to coincide with the way I play and the capabilities of the CPU.

Can you believe... I've had several long at bats. I've even had multiple at bats with MULTIPLE foul balls.

AMAZING, against the cardinals, I had like a 14 pitch at bat with foul ball after foul ball and finally, I struck out the batter. Then a 11 pitch at bat, and 9 pitch. A far cry from before.

I love my sliders now. They are weird, but work lovely! My pitchers have to mix up the pitches and as someone said, the key is to make the cpu power and contact higher.
Lol, people get enjoyment from their game in different ways. Why they enjoy one thing over another is not really important. --trobinson97

Curious what changes you made to my sliders?

I've had D-Train throw about 35 in one inning, but he walked like three batters.
