Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

How about walks and foul balls, Fat? What are the numbers like for those?

Foul balls are about the same as last year. Didn't hear many compaints.

Walks depend on how you play the game. I get about 2 a game, but I swing at junk and it makes me mad until I realize that I am facing craftiness of my own creation

There's also a slider that controls how often the CPU throws strikes. Lower it for more walks and higher pitch counts.

I am in the game...or at least my name is, replacing that of a scab.

I'll look up Mr. Eldred when I get to work today.

                Fat,
I've just read the project manager interview in Sega's site and something on there was disturbing. A guy said that the game was so easy last year that he went 29-0 with the Devil Rays on the most difficult settings. Please tell me that it won't happen this year!

That's GREAT news! I love being able to draw walks and even more importantly, work the pitch counts. I find it really adds to the immersiveness of the game. Speaking of pitch counts, is the pitchers fatigue level based on pitch count (maybe even pitch type) or is it just an innings played/batters faced sort of thing?

Can you check the Reds roster and tell me if Felipe Lopez,Brandon Larson,Austin Kearns, and Luke Hudson are on there?

No, that's fixed. All-Star difficulty is harder, there's a new Legend difficulty, and there are also sliders that let you adjust how well the CPU hits, how often it takes balls, and how often it takes strikes.

                            I've never beaten Legend.

Edit: yeah, I'll have that Reds info in about an hour or so.

Austin Kearns had 372 AB's last season and hit .315. Aside from that, I'm pretty sure he got some votes for ROY. If he's not in the game, there needs to be some tweaking in the decision making.
