Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

Eldred isn't in the game (no MLB service in 2002, so I guess we didn't have rights to him). The Cardinals rotation is:
    Matt Morris
    Woody Williams
    Brett Tomko
    Jason Simontacchi
    Garrett Stephenson

Felipe Lopez - yes, majors, bench
Brandon Larson - yes, majors, starting 3B
    Luke Hudson - yes, minors
    Jimmy Journell - no

        Hey Fat Pitcher,

This is from Game Informer, "While the verdict is still out on the gameplay, Sega has made an effort to make it much more user friendly and arcade centric. Glitzy, over-the-top plays ...give it a new look and feel" Specifically earlier in the article it mentioned the "outrageous" running grabs and double plays. Is it really that bad? Is it really leaning away from sim in this regard? Do you know why they would be saying this? The author came across as an ASB-EA fanboy but maybe you can comment on his observations?

Also, forgive me as this has been addressed Im sure but the previews are starting to blend together, will there be multiplayer franchise?

        TIA

FatPitcher, (or anyone else who knows)

I just have a couple of quick questions about the minor league system in WSB.
                1. I am confused as to whether there are A, AA, and AAA teams or if it is just one group.
                2. If there is just one team, Is there a limit to the number of people you can have in the minor leagues?
                3. Can I create players and put them in the minor leagues
                4. And finally, can you trade minor leaguers?

I don't think the double plays looking fancy affects gameplay. Normal pivot or leap and tumble, it's still two outs. The "outrageous running grabs" may be the over-the-shoulder catch, which was worse in last year's game than this one. Not sure where this guy is coming from. If you want over the top, look at WSB2K2's HR celebrations

The only effort to make it more "arcade-centric" is the addition of jumps, lunges (maybe these are the "outrageous running catches"?), and wall jumps. Maybe the power and contact buttons?

I'd say it's more of a sim than it was last year.
