Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

FatPitcher, I don't want to know any new modes yet, and I'm 100000% positive that you couldn't tell me new modes anyways, but I just wanted to know:

Will the PS2 version live up to better expectations? Player shadowing, 60 FPM, etc?

Are there still generic faces, or are there new ones? Is there body scaling? Are you guys recreating the batting stances?

    Thanks.

FP - I was hoping you could answer this - Is it going to be more difficult this year to K the CPU? I tried many different slider variations and on all the different "default" levels and still ran into too many high strikeout games.

I also hope the swing animations on PS2 are a little better because IMO they weren't too great last year. XBox looked good, but PS2 seemed a little off IMO...

Dude, all animations were the same, it's just that the Xbox version had no slowdown and perfect framerate.

Oh yeah, will we be able to hear the ball actually hit the bat in the PS2 version this time?

How about some realistic sound effects to, you know, make it feel like you're actually at the ball park? I love in MVP how the catcher's mit will make a loud exploding sound when the ball hits the glove. I also like the sound in MVP of the ball hitting the bat, very nice indeed.

Yeah, I'm sure all animations were the same. There was just something I didn't like about the swing animation on the PS2. I'm sure XBox looked smoother since it's a more powerful console...

The swing animations in general for WSB2k3 are some of the worst I've seen in any baseball game. I don't know how I'll go back to playing it now that I've played MVP for a week.
