Well, I'm basing it on the fact that the demo was showed off, if the guy on that one site got to see a demo, I'm sure IGN and GameSpot were there too. I don't think 2K would give him a personal show! Also, GameSpot gave us an update last Friday, so I was guessing IGN would give an update this week, and today is the last day of the week.

Basically, it's just wishful thinking. But I do have that feeling.

Nope, they are off weekends, and they won't update this Monday either because of Martin Luther King Jr. So if we don't get anything tonight we'll have to wait until next Tuesday to renew our hopes up updates.

Sad news as this was just posted over on the IGN forums regarding next week's content on the site:

"Next week alone, is going to be awesome. First of all, there's no work on Monday (thanks MLK!). But that just means more coverage is being packed into four days. Next week you can look forward to previews of Far Cry 2, GTA IV, Alone in the Dark, Rez HD, Lost, Jumper, FIFA Street 3 and Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Plus features on Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and the newly announced Highlander game. And that's just the stuff on the schedule. There are always some surprises that show up throughout the week."

No mention of MLB 2K8 so unless it's one of the "surprises" no videos are currently scheduled on the horizon from IGN.

Some good news from IGN. Someone asked if there would be any coverage of MLB 2K8 anytime soon and this was the response:

"Yes. We'll have hands-on soon."

I know it's not much, but hopefully soon means this week and it comes with some videos?

I was checking out the vids from 2K7 on ign, and the first gameplay vids were shown on Jan 18.... since the 18th was a Friday this year, we will probably be seeing vids this week for sure!

Hopefully that's true. Makes a lot of sense lol but I doubt they have a full copy.
