No admitting that a certain game has always had better graphics then another, but thinking the other one will soon be alot better is funny.

You asked about last year, I do not know where you get always from? The graphic upgrade from last year to this year in the Show is huge. Next year with the player model upgrade, I could see it being on par or even surpassing 2k's. If you want to talk about stadiums, I think the Show is way advanced in that department but I won't speculate and say they always will be better.

2k7 looked great but 2k8 from screens isnt looking the greatest, 2k7 looked better than the show and even after the nice vids of MLB 08 i think personally it still looks better but 2k8 from the screens not soo much, I cant remember where I thought it was on here one of the kush guys admitted the graphics took a small hit but he couldnt believe the bashing they recieved.

As mentioned before the internet has ALOT to do with gamers, message boards do a matter, not majorly but they count and give insight to companies on what the hardcore gamer is really thinking why do u think this message board is in exsistance?

Do you guys seriously think that the lack of videos and information is due to the fact that some dbags on a message board are going to comment on it and corrupt the marketing edge the company has because the message boarders say the game is crap? Seriously? I hope this is not the case because if so, you all need to check the hat sizes at the door. Listen, the game will release and the goodies leaked, when the marketing team and/or developers say it will. Period. I too am awaiting the game with much angst and excitement, but I am certainly not myopic enough to think that Take2 is "holding out" because of what I or, God help us, Blzr have to say about the game. Yeah, I can just hear it now in the 2K board room. "Well Ben, I would love to release some videos of the actual gameplay, but golly, those message boarders over there at Operation Sports will eat us alive". Please. The game comes out in March (hopefully) and just like the sun in the morning, or the moon at night, there is nothing we can do about it. So instead of running yourselves into a tizzy, and thinking about the conspiracy theories as to why Joe Message boy is keeping the game from coming out, sit back, relax, and when the game comes out, then make it your civic duty to run to the boards and complain about how there are too many empty seats in the last row of the upper deck. Please.

Hopefully this is the year that we all get to say, "Wow, what a great game of baseball they made for us this year". We all know the last game to have those accolades showered down upon it, and with BB bringing a little piece of that magic with him, maybe, just maybe, we get treated to a gem this year.

Well, one of two things will happen.

1.) fanboys will NEVER be convinced that the game has problems.
2.) fanboys from the other side will never be convinced the game is any good.

Not much will change, but I'm with you. I'm so happy over what I'm seeing with The Show and the little we've gotten for this one. I hope it shines.

I knew where this thread was heading so I decided to "try" and lighten it up with some predictive maintenance


I also would love to see some more information on the game via vids/screens. As a consumer I'm going to base lots of things on what I see. Do you not test drive cars? Look at brochures etc.. to help with buying? No difference here IMO. I'm not freaking out over it like some but if the game is great looking and great playing then release some stuff. It's called marketing.
Hopefully something will be out soon and we'll hopefully get a glimps of a very nice game.
