Unfortunately half the ppl on the west coast dunno who Carl Crawford are because they play a whopping total of 6 games against them....and ESPN isnt going to dedicate a 5 min game recap on D'Rays vs Royals....so I understand where a game company can overlook such a thing....its NOT right....but i understand the reasoning....

What a joke of a network. I wish everyone would stop watching it so ESPN would be forced to start covering SPORTS again. I haven't gone to the website or watched that network (other than my teams' games) in about a year and a half. My life is far better for it.Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and
Sutcliffe comes through, and....
Pa, see what you did to me?

Yeah, they don't have time to cover baseball impartially. They're way to busy clearing room on their schedule for covering card tournaments and strongman competitions, airing horrific ESPN "original" movies, putting together "hip" highlights clips set to music, and delivering truckloads of donuts to Chris Berman.

Re: Signature Style in MLB 2K8?
I say college sports should get less coverage. I mean I don't mind some highlights here and there, but interviews and extended stuff is unnecessary. I know I'm in the minority here, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

I think they should keep the college coverage, but actually use ESPNU and make it free with basic cable. They're ditching ESPN2, right? Put ESPNU in its place, and keep the college coverage.Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and

Re: Signature Style in MLB 2K8?
ESPNews is the only ESPN I watch. SportsCenter sucks as does almost all of its programming.
Baseball Tonight isn't even that good anymore. It went from a show I just had to watch every single night, to a baseball version of SportsCenter.Comment

Re: Signature Style in MLB 2K8?
Well, I'll tell you why I'D cancel it. Tonight, ESPN2 is showing women's basketball, followed by a 1996 Colts-Steelers game, followed by Super Bowl Highlights, and capped off with a Cal Poly at Pacific basketball game.
Late-night, they're recapping the college football polls (huh? why?), then showing poker and bowling. During the weekday mornings, they're so desperate that they TELEVISE a (terrible) sports talk radio show. Is there any reason anyone on this planet would want to watch Mike & Mike sit in a room with headphones on and play grabass for three hours?
There simply cannot be enough people watching that channel to justify paying for it.Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and
Sutcliffe comes through, and....

Re: Signature Style in MLB 2K8?
Even if you do like it, though, do you really need to WATCH it? And even we lived in a world where there was some bizarre demand for those guys on television, couldn't ESPN just run it on the flagship channel instead of showing Sportscenter reruns over and over and over again?Of course, if Dawson gets hot, and

Re: Signature Style in MLB 2K8?
That is the thinking process that I absolutely hate. Get your head out of your *** and realize there are more teams in the MLB than just the 10 big city teams. There are plenty of Royals fans and every year, we get a game where the entire team has generic stances and and pitching windups.
Guys like Meche, Greinke, Soria, Gordon, Butler, Guillen, Teahen, Grudzielanek, Buck, DeJesus, Bannister should all have their signature stances and if they don't and Mark Reynolds does, that is a disgrace. Just because your MLB revolves around 10 teams, doesn't mean there aren't other teams in the league and just because you are a fan of the Yankees (who isn't now days) doesn't mean you can't learn about other teams.
Don't be such an ignorant fool.Post of the day. I'm a Sox fan but that doesn't mean I only care to see there signature styles. If I'm playing against the Rays, I want to feel like I'm battling against Crawford, Upton, Baldelli, Pena, and others. When I face Kazmir, Shields, or Garza I want it to feel like them out there, and not some generic scrub with their name and number. Having signature styles for as many players the better. The pitcher/batter matchup is what baseball's all about.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
