No, not cranky at all.. I am just going by this review from IGN just posted recently.

I wouldnt go as far as saying that "EVERYTHING you say about the game is negative.."

There are things I do like about the game and some that I am hoping they fix....I had 2k7 and played it quite a bit.. and there were a lot of things wrong with it as everyone knows. So I am just hoping that this year, a lot of the problems are fixed and the game continues to progress.

Okay, and I'm just pointing out that KushGamer already put that particular worry to bed, so why continue to bring it up? It's pretty exasperating to read the same stuff repeated over and over on here.

Not posted by you specifically, but pretty much every thread on here has at least one post on at least one or more of the following topics:

1. The Show's graphics vs. 2K8's graphics.
2. The bat sounds.
3. 60 fps.
4. Meatball pitches.
5. The many forms of "This [stadium/player] is missing [some minute detail], which is a total gamekiller for me."
6. "This game looks the same as last year."
7. "After seeing that [picture/video] I'm [buying a PS3/swearing off electricity for the rest of my life/committing seppuku]."

And look! Now all those things are in THIS thread, too! This place is great for information, but it's really, really frustrating sometimes.

wow, I just saw some nice screens that were great today, and now this videos seem to have let me down a bit, I think it was the third video, when watching the videos, reyes was throwing to thrid base and they still have the stupid ugly looking animation, this should have been fixed, why can;t they seem to fix these herky jerky animations.

One thing I don't like in those videos is when the SS throws the ball to the 2nd baseman after the play. His arm looks like he is throwing it at 60 MPH but the ball floats at about 20 MPH.
Also, the guy on 3rd, it looks like he is going to throw underhand to first or something but then throws it normally. And why is the SS running at the pitcher after the play?

l did like the high throw to first though. I would like to see someone throw more than one ball when they are pitching.

Ya I noticed that too. The video that bothered me was the "Santana gets tagged" video. The throw from right center field to 3B never slowed down after it landed in the OF and skipped and rolled to 3B. The other weird thing was when Beltran threw the ball from CF and Castillo cut it off and was in that funky looking throwing animation during the throw to 3B. He was facing home plate and throwing to 3B at a strange angle.

For the most part, from what I have seen, this game is just eye candy and I really hope the game isn't choppy like we have been seeing in these videos.
