Im staggered at the lack of demo yet considering its now approaching only 10 days left in Feb and a demo was mentioned for early Feb, and im doubly surprised they havent got one out considering the huge impact The Shows demo has had.

at this point it's quite simple. If they are not confident to show their product I'm not confident in buying their product

If the demo has been delayed then there is a good reason for it. The major game sites like ign and gamespot both had demo copies and they were still full of bugs. I am sure 2K sports wants to work on the problems before they release the demo and the final product. I am sure 2K sports has now seen the MLB 08 demo and it just puts more pressure on them to release a quality product. Give them time it will be here soon.

Some EXCELLENT news reguarding franchise mode!

good stuff.. i would definietly ASSUME the reason why he couldnt edit CPU rosters was just b/c of the preview build like said, i cant imaging they'd give us all of the other CPU control options but leave that out

glad to hear/see this though

Also check back every day for new content, videos and new screens including minor league footage.

I think that has a lot to do with it, they were possibly going to release early Feb as they promised but then saw the hugely positive reaction to The Show and didnt want to release a very buggy (albeit The Show demo has bugs, naturally) demo and therefore lose even more potential customers i dont know, but i do find it very odd.

Its getting to that point shortly where the full game will be out and releasing a demo would be somewhat pointless unless its done in the next say week or so.

Yep. You hit the nail on the head. They aren't confident at all. In fact I heard they are thinking of canceling the whole thing! Then, they are going to refund everyone who ever purchased 2k6 and 2k7. Plus, they are going to provide PS3's and a copy of the show to customers who had preordered 2k8! I'm sure thats it!

Exactly- this armchair analysis is just hilarious at this point. They've worked on this game for almost a year and sound damn proud about it in the interviews. Honestly, most of these posts have made this forum unreadable.

So while all the smart**** are ripping on Tomba, it doesn't bother anyone that Ben said the demo will be out in Early Feb. on a couple occasions and here we sit on the 18th and not even a hint of when the demo will drop. I am waiting and wanting this game as much as the next person, but I am worried a little.

They sure in the heck aren't holding onto the demo for fun or because it's so good, it scare's them. There is a reason it's not out yet.....and for those who say they are just working out bugs.....well, how long before we don't have to hear that crap anymore with this series.

Please, don't take this as a slap towards 2kfans or the series, I am a 2kfan and want this game to be as good or better than the Show, I am just tired of being a sheep for this game.
