Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
Yeah, so far all the pics/videos I've seen so far show a Fenway from like 3-4 years ago. And nothing from this years 2K8 has changed from last years 2K7, and I even highly doubt that it has even changed much from 2K6, and that's bad. Fenway just got rid of the Coke bottles on the light tower in left field, and they are about to replace them with something else, but has not been put up yet. They still have not put up Conigliaro's Corner (a set of bleachers)out in right field near Peskie's Pole. As well, there are all new sections that have been improved on the first and third base sides. We can only hope that what we've seen so far is an early build and 2K will be fixing and tweaking Fenway as well as all other stadiums that need updating. 2K needs to realize that MLB stadiums get facelifts every year. LaterComment

2K is TERRIBLE with stadiums. Some stadiums haven't been touched since 2K5, it's just pathetic. For a game that looks so beautiful, they have really bland stadiums.Comment

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
He should have said something like 70 out of the 81.
But I'm only explaining. I don't really care."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
Oh man i couldnt agree more, its probably caused they WASTED THERE TIME WITH MINOR LEAGUE STADIUMS!!!. Im sorry maybe im am the only one, but what would you rather have Updated Stadiums, all the little nuonses, or a bunch of minor league stadiums that honeslty i and some other people probably wont see half of them. I think its such a bad move on 2k's side.Comment

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
No. He said he watches 90-110 Red Sox games a year. Anybody with common sense can understand his point. To point out that teams only play 81 home games was stupid. He never said he watched 90-110 home games!Comment

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
It made perfect sense, he stated how many games he watches a year. Is he supposed to sit there and do the math to approximate how many of those games are home games?

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
2k7 wore me out with its poor stadiums. The Show did better with the stadiums on psp. I don't know why, but accurate stadiums is very important to me.Comment

Now back on topic... I'm really hoping that this game has been improved since some of the looks we've had lately.Peace

Re: XPlay Previewing game tonight
I would worry until the game is out. There is no way the stadiums would take a step back from last year, it just wouldn't make sense.... they even added the advertising signs behind home plate now.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment
