Good lord those ratings are bad. How the heck does Felix Hernandez rate above CC Sabathia?

What? After the year he had he's rated a 67?! He should be in the mid-70's at least.

In fairness, Moylan was awful in 06(granted limited innings), and walked alot of righties last year.

Can someone let 2k know that nomar isn't going to play at first this year! Loney has taken over and should be rated pretty well, but I don't see him on the list. Nomar at best is going to platoon at third. His best years are well behind him.

Just wondering, from a quick look this information looks identical to the information posted at gametap a few weeks ago http://www.gametap.com/home/read/article/3625

I thought I remembered reading that gametap had an early version of the game or something and the numbers were not all correct.

So has anyone spotted any differences with the O/S numbers?

Yeah, tell me about it. The guy had the lowest ERA among relievers with atleast 90 innings pitched and he gets a 67. Come on 2k

maybe they just didnt update that guy for this year in the game. has anyone scrubbed the list and compared it to the 2k7 ratings? That might answer some questions. If you look at the list and its obvious noone was changed then thats the reason his rating is bad, if the majority of the players ratings were changed based off last years performance then dude just didnt get any love or someone at 2k thinks last year was a fluke.....

off the top of my head i dont think they gave carlos delgado the ratings decrease he deserved hes mid 80's but imo he should be in the mid to high 70's after last season and his age now becoming a factor.

Jeter came into the league in 95. Why is he on the 97 rookie team?

Hey TJ, just want you to know you're the man. I know I get annoyed seeing guys pilfering for ratings every year when NCAA drops, so it's nice to see you handing out some freebies. Do I wanna know some ratings? Sure... but how about you just give us a deeper impression on the ratings in your eyes. What about highly touted minor leaguers who are still years away. Take someone who might have been drafted just this past season. Is the raw potential reflected in some of the numbers? Thanks again!

Pedro Martinez is 86, assuming you mean Ted Maine, he's a 60, and the other two guys, I'm going to need first names. This database isn't broken down by team and I'm not going to search for all guys named Perez and Sanchez.

They're probably going off of the same spreadsheet we have so yes, it's the same numbers.

There is a "potential rating" for each player. I don't know if these will be viewable or not when the game ships though so I'd better not get into providing those numbers.

I think he means John Maine. And its Oliver Perez and Duaner Sanchez.

I completely understand. Just going over a few of them, what's your opinion?

Thank You Very Much, I do mean John Maine and Oliver Perez and Duaner Sanchez.....and wow Pedro only garnishing an 86 after having a 2.57 ERA last year, clearly it was only 5 starts but hes still good enough to get something like an 88-92 rating
