Yeah i am getting the game regardless of the demo, actually i already paid for it. the way i figure i had tons of fun with mlb 2k7 even with all the problems, so if mlb 2k8 has been improved i don't see why i wont have fun with it too.

right now from what i have seen with the videos i will not be getting the game without previewing the demo. I need to see for myself the hit variety, swing follow through variety, and other things of that nature. Hopefully it comes out sooner then later.

My sentiments. I have always bought "blind", so to speak, but not this year. Too many unasnwered questions about this game right now. Even with the demo I'll need some really objective feedback from a few guys here after the game is released .

If you only own a 360, you don't really have a choice, do you? Either you buy it or play an older game if you want your baseball fix.

Unless you wait for the demo... but who knows how long that's going to take.

The thing that bothers me is not that there's no demo yet, but that we were told there would be one before release and it never materialized. It just smacks of disorganization, or of a company who knows that for 360 gamers this is the only choice they have so it doesn't matter what kind of game they put out - baseball fans will buy it no matter what.

For the 135,357,377,875,134,865 time, the demo is in MS's hands now and it not being currently out has nothing to do with 2K.

You sound pretty sure of that. I take it you don't believe that since 2K has handed it to Microsoft that they have no say when Microsoft releases it. I wouldn't bet on that. 2K could direct Microsoft to release it on a certain day. Not saying this is the case, just suggesting that it is a possiblity. I have heard that Sony also has the demo "in hand" and they only update PSN on Thursdays. So if it's not up tomorrow on the PS3 it will not be up before the game is released. If both go up tomorrow then I would suggest that 2K does indeed have input on when these companies release the demo. We'll just have to wait and see.

No way. I'm not getting suckered in again. Show me a demo that shows actual playable gameplay, a real matchup between pitcher and hitter, and so on. This right analog crap looks like a mess, too.

ok then, leave the 2k boards, go to the shows board and praise their game, then let me know wen 2k gets a better GAMEPLAY rating BECAUSE of the analog stick.
