Have you noticed that there is a HUGE troll problem here at the 2k sports board and on the show board there is a relatively low troll population.........I think that this shows that most 2k fans dont go around trying to damage teh reputation of a game to prove that our game is better;

What happened to all those who said... "keep the graphics, just fix the gameplay" ? Now they're lurking in this forum saying... "Blah! It looks the same as last year!"

I have not said this but when people say this I dont think they are referring to graphics, I think there referring to gameplay issues tendencies etc

I just watched that play in short center over again where they dropped the ball...

You guys are kidding yourself if you think that was "miscommunication" amongst the fielders. The user, controlling the CF, wasn't in the right spot to catch the ball.

Now you can take this one of two ways:

1) The catch animations will have an issue in that they don't trigger when they're supposed to, causing you to drop the ball. Not good.

or

2) The game will penalize the user for not being in the right spot almost perfectly.

Take it as you will... but in no way was that a "miscue" by the outfielders.

Yet you can make an assumption of those 2 things, but one cant make an assumption that it is a miscue.......doesnt make sense; dude maybe he just forgot to press teh dive button

I think its due more to the fact that the last 2 releases of 2k baseball were unacceptable in many peoples mind and they (me included) see the show as a breath of fresh air an a lot better option

ok my point exactly..........then stop being up in here criticizing a game that you have already put in the past (which is ridiculous bc the game is not even out yet), and go onto the board to discuss your "breath of fresh air" and go on with ur future with the show

Miscue, however, isn't one of them when the user was controlling the player.

For one I still may buy 2K8 and two I think we all should be noting pros and cons from a vid. Your a 2K fanboy if you think no one should have anything negative to say about the vids if they honestly feel that way.

They can be unhappy with what they see in videos of the game so far.

Let's not make this an issue of linguistics... we all know what is going on here. Some are just better at expressing their displeasure than others.

It is possible to be unimpressed from the videos of the game... which, BTW, is what we're discussing here...

Pared you do know that there is a "Call-Off" button in the game. Last year it was more gimmicky if anything. Maybe they've put more influence on the usage of the "Call-Off" button & in instances such as the-1 we saw, not using it causes confusion between the 2 outfielders. I've seen this plenty of times in real life.
