This is not really that big of a deal at all but for some reason my infielders never seem to complete the "around the horn." I don't know if it's just my game or are other people having this same issue. When the out is complete at first my first baseman throws it to my shortstop and then the shortstop will either continue to hold the ball or he will perform a fake throw, then the screen changes to the next batter. I have played the demo and they perform the "around the horn" in that, so I don't know. Thanks. Later

Hi guys i'm new to posting here but i've been reading the post s and get alot of good info, as far as this game ther are alot of little things that bug me. One is when the outfielders throw to the cut off man why does the cutoff man stand and look at the ball like the play is over, have any of you noticed this.

Outfielder's arm completely disappeared into the outfield wall on a catch at the wall.

Pitcher has the ball go through the back of his glove on a throw as he is running to cover first base.

There are just to may bugs and glitches to make this game enjoyable. Someone in another post said that we got to be the beta testers for a 60 dollar charge. I'm beginning to think he is right. This is sad.

Thank you...that would be me. I rented the game because i knew every sport game has glitches but there are ones that are a game breakers.

/RANT There is NO WAY these games were tested, NONE!!! All 2k worried about was sending brikman to these interviews and sell the damn game. Guess what you did Brinkman you suckered alot of people out of 60 dollars. They knew people were going to buy it.... it is such a shame and all the reviews are right. Everything from Graphics -Gameplay to Sound....Hell there are people who cant even Play the game Are you Kidding me....?

And what sux and makes me sooooo angry is that People out there will STILL PLAY IT and go out and BUY IT. and go out next year and DO THE SAME THING AGAIN... WTF!!!! Stop buying there crap hit em were it hurts and that is PROFIT...UGH!!!

Sry about my rant... im a avid baseball fan.. and it hurts that we get this Garbage instead of a real basball game.

I pinch ran for a runner on 2B. There's a cut scene where the player is on base warming up, stretching his hammys, etc - problem was - he's on 1B in the cut scene.

Luckily he ends up back on 2B when the action starts....but geez....

That's because, at least on the 360, there is no choice if you love baseball and want to play a video game sim of it. You can thank MLB for granting an exclusive license to a company that couldn't program its way out of a paper bag.

i dont know if anyone else has had this problem, but i save all my settings at the main/vip/franchise menus. but when i get into my franchise games, the swing stick is still on even after i have turned it off. then, so i go into the in-game options to turn it back to classic. when i come back to the game, the cpu throws nothing but pitches down the middle of the plate. idk if its a glitch on all games or just mine, but its annoying. they throw different pitches, but all are aimed directly down the center of the plate, also, they dont wait to throw the pitch, as soon as the screen comes up they pitch, so you cant leadoff, steal, or really hit n' run.

I haven't gone through every single post in this thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned or not.

The bug where you appear to check swing with an ungly animation of swinging at the same time. It's hard to explain, it's almost like your batter swings twice. It only happens during human batting. But immediately upon happening the screen will freeze and there is no way out of it but to reset the system. It does not freeze every single time, I would say about half the time.

This is very frustrating. I had a good game going and was in the bottom of the 7th with a tight lead last night when this happened. It appears to be an error in programming as this has happened to me in about 5 games out of say 30.

another thing i have happen regarding swinging/check swing is like maybe 20% of the time if i pitch inside it seems to hit the batter. even if I pitch it perfectly it nails the batter. frustrating. if there are 2 strikes though, when it hits the batter he is called for strike 3. im like wtf he didnt even swing. its weird and def. feels like something is messed up when it happens.

has anyone heard anything about a patch coming out in the next couple of weeks or something? i think i'm going to hold off on starting a season until a patch comes out to fix stuff

Since players play out of position, you'll be gunned down by left handed catchers, second basemen, shortstops, and third basemen. Fix this 2K . . .

Has anyone else had problems with the total control pitching when their are men on base and you can't control the effectiveness of the pitch making it extremly difficult to pitch accuratley with men on base

I searched this thread and came up dry....

I had a guy put on the DL by the CPU on my team. I had him put on for 15 days, as he had a 40 day injury. When his time was up, I went to the DL screen to put him on the 15 day DL again, and it won't let me. Even though the help menu says "hit A to change DL time", nothing happens.

I tried this again with a separate play on my teams, and same thing.

about 8-10 pitches into the game, the "game over" screen pops up. It was raining, so I'm assuming the game was called on account of rain. No word from the announcers, though. I had a game called once before, and they made a big deal about pulling out the tarp, etc. Also when it was called that time, it showed players in the dugout (gathering their stuff or whatever)

2nd inning, after making my first out the 2B and RF start running in like it was the end of the inning

a ground ball gets hit to my 2B. he had no trouble fielding it, but took his sweet time throwing it to 1B and the batter reaches the bag first (and is safe)

CC Sabathia gets hurt, a 13 day injury. I put him on the 15 day DL just to see how it worked. After his 13 days was up, I moved him back into the rotation and tried to start him for my next game. Every time I tried to start the game, it would freeze up on the screen where you can change the weather

not sure if this is a glitch, but when i went to make a trade for adam jones, by the way i'm in my third season they wouldnt except it and it was a good trade then i tried to give up the players in the trade finder and i was able to mess with a seattle offer, give up worse players and get jones plus another guy with 63 overall her were the trade..
