So i figured out the problem was Derrick Turnbow. Can someone please play a game with the brewers quick and just sub in turnbow right away and see if your pitching goes nuts. thanks

360 version

Let me start off by saying I was really looking forward to this game, but turns out its a piece of ****...

1) during total control pitching, when pitching from the stretch I am unable to stop the 'power' of the pitch...which drains staminia and results in a meatball about half the time....

2) At citizens bank park during a thunderstorm, when lightning happens the textures disappear....

3) during one at bat, the CPU batter had invisible legs

4) game froze twice (in 4 games played) at the 7th inning stretch right before the chances of winning thing

5) during the two chances of winning things I saw they both said "let's go back to the bottom of the seventh when this happened" but the bottom of the seventh hadn't even happened yet...

6) in franchise mode if you use the player finder to make a trade that messes up your total players or lineups you must have the CPU rearrange them to be able to back out of player finder....

7) durning the 2nd game of my franchise, in the first inning there was a rain delay, which led to the game being postponed...upon exiting I learn the game has been rescheduled on the same exact day...at the same exact time...as though the 30 minutes of the game never took place...

I would have much rather had a delay than spend $60 on a game that's main features don't work...

The game has already frozen on me 5 times. once in a game, 4 times as the game loads (when zelasko is previewing the game)

make that six times now. how can this company continually get away with this stuff. MLB should revoke their exclusivity license.

Play at the plate with throw coming in from LF, runner slides across home safely presumably scoring from 2B on a base hit. Catcher keeps foot on the plate and stretches for the ball as if it's a force play and the runner is somehow called out.

Two problems:

1. Catcher acted as if it was a force play and didn't even attempt to tag the runner.
2. Even if it had been a force play, the runner was clearly safe on the replay.

Playing in one of the minor league parks...

I pitch to the batter, cracks a deep one down the line but it clearly goes foul...OVER THE WALL. So I just sit there, and Morgan and Miller are like "he's rounding the bases, I don't know if the outfielders will get it in on time" or something like that.

So not only was it foul and they called it fair, it went over the wall so I had no way to get the ball. So the batter just sprinted around the bases for an inside the park homerun.

Online game last night, after the 6th inning, we both brought our relievers into the game, and you could not see any of the selectable pitches for either team's pitchers. There was just nothing there to choose from. Plus, and unless I just did not realize there is no option for it, we could not communicate during the game. Either on the MLB chat option, or the regular chat through messenger. We played two games and could not speak to one another for either. Anyone else having issues talking to their opponents during the game?

don't know what system you're on or if this is different for online games, but for offline games on 360 the right trigger will make the selection of pitches appear and disappear. once or twice it has disappeared on me without me doing anything, but just pull the R trigger and it should come back up.

Last night I was playing a head to head game with a buddy in the late innings, and I have a man on first. He throws a wild pitch and I send my guy up to second. Well he tries to throw him out with McCann, but instead of throwing the ball to second he hurls it THROUGH the wall behind the plate. At this point the only thing to do was send the runner -- originally on first base -- home. The ball was obviously unreachable at this point. Needless to say, we were both upset to see this.

Played six and a half games so far and the only glitch I've seen was playing at Fenway when Matsui fielded a ball off the Monster and threw it to third and Miller said, "Jeter with the throw to third."

No gameplay glitches yet, that's a good sign. For as much as people are complaining about this game I'd expect this thread to be 20 pages long by now.

Wow, thanks.... I am hopeful that this was what happened. I am playing on the 360, so I will try it if it happens again. Scary to be out there with no idea what arsenal you have, and how to throw them. Other than the fastball.

Any idea on the communication issues? Were you able to talk with your opponent when you guys were playing? I did not go through the lobby, I went through the Play a Friend screen. Plus, I got a message that the resolution and /or visual options were not compatible with my opponent. What is that all about? If someone is playing in 720p and the other guy is playing in 1080i is this going to be an issue with playing against one another? Could this lead to extra lag? Having to swing sooooooooooo early in order to make contact?

The biggest complaint I had last night was that the guy who I was playing (buddy from work) has no idea on how to pitch. I won, are you ready for this, I won the game 37-2 and Big Papi went 8-8 with 7 HR's and a Triple. I kid you not. Morgan kept saying that only 7 guys in history had more hits and RBI than Papi had last night, so that was kind of cool, but the game was over in the 4th inning as I was up 13-0. I could not NOT hit the meatballs for anything other than a HR. I wish I could have just tried to make contact, but it was either run to the next base on a double and let him tag me out, or bunt to the pitcher so he could get a chance to bat. I am sure it will get better as he learns the game, but there needs to be a little less power for online games.

At first I thought the frame rate glitch was due to the HDD being connected. Now I see that when I log out of my Xbox360 profile and play the game, it is a silky smooth 60 fps. Bad frame rate with a profile... Great frame rate without a profile. I smell a patch coming.

I played only 2 games last night and this happened in each game. The left fielder was set under a routine fly ball to make the catch in LEFT FIELD and at the last second the center fielder comes running in an crashes into him causing the ball to drop.

When you are camping under the ball and ready to make the catch with your left fielder, press the X button to let the centerfielder knwo you are calling for the ball. The CF will peel off and out of the way. Not a glitch, User error.

Not sure if this is a glitch or I did something wrong but In a game I was playing (as the Yankees) I hit a double with men on 1st and 2nd. I tried to bring both of them home but they both stopped in between 3rd base and home. The red sox then threw the ball home to Varitek and he just held on to it until I pressed LB, which caused one of my runners to get tag out as he tackled varitek. I got 1 run out of it but it was very weird.

I believe you have to call for the ball. I don't have the game yet, but this issue has been brought up in a few of the other posts. Last year you pressed X to call for the ball...not sure if it's the same button this year.

It sounds like they went a little overboard with this as in real life a CF is never going to sprint to grab a ball that the LF is camping under and most of the time an OF is not going to call a ball that is obviously his. This should really only occur in balls to the gaps, balls in the IF and balls between the INF and OF. However, I think it adds an important aspect to the game and welcome it.
