Obviously the framerate: Offline and Online.

Abrupt transitions: The pregame with Zelasko is often cut-off in mid sentence, and goes straight to the game; Other abrupt transitions occur throughout the game

Walk-Up Batter music: Should only play at home; currently plays at home and on the road

It would be great if some textures could be patched. Also, the overall lighting seems very dark at night games.

I would like to see:

Framerate fixed
CPU steals
CPU throwing balls
Smaller strike zone (especially the corners)
Carmona's head replaces with the correct one
Smoother replays and highlights

If these things were fixed I think this game would stay in my system until 2k9 comes.

I would like for my bullpen to not jump up and down when the other team goes yard.....and of course, vice/versa.

Graphics, graphics, graphics. It's very hard to enjoy this game visually after seeing 2k7. Since signing out of your VIP enhances the framerate in 2k7 also, they need to figure out how a smooth framerate and crisp graphics can co-exist

Add missing jerseys

(minor gripes)
-Stop playing "Cleveland Rocks" in various stadiums.

-Get rid of the "Yankee Booths" in various stadiums at the beginning
of the game. Makes no sense at all.

I would like for my bullpen to not jump up and down when the other team goes yard.....and of course, vice/versa.

I haven't paid much attention to this, but are you sure they aren't angry?

They sure don't look angry........I do not believe it is the guys throwing their arms up in disgust.....basically the same reaction as the guys on my bench (stand and put both arms over their heads) and I don't think they are pissed off.

It looks a lot like my real life reaction when I am @ a real game and my team goes yard. I tend to sit and sulk when the oppostion goes deep.

Like I said, I really haven't paid much attention to it, but I do know that sometimes the pitcher looks pumped up after he gives up a big fly. I'll have to look out for this next time I get taken yard, which should be long.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the rotation screen problem in this thread. I like to adjust my bullpen and look at stats on that screen. The freaking game resets every one of my teams (A, AA, AAA, MLB) to their #1 starter when I look at that screen. That is a HUGE problem for me. I'm not playing the game right now because of it. Also, the fact that some players who are promoted/demoted disappear entirely makes the minor leagues pretty pointless. I'm afraid to promote anyone for fear of wiping him off the face of the earth.

I've never played The Show in my life. I actually liked 2K7 with some good sliders. But this crap wrapped in a pretty box that Ben Brinkman developed has to be one of the biggest flops this year. We were all expecting a great game with the way it was talked up. While it has the potential to be very good, the bugs and issues that it shipped with are inexcusable. I can't enjoy the franchise mode because of certain glitches. This mode is the only reason I spend $60 on it. Why do they even pay people to test it? If they can't find things in months when it takes us days, they need to find a new job.

They definitly need to fix the call up / send down problem, especially with the Padres.

Rain-outs are broken this year to.

They had it right last year, where you would have a rain-out, so they would reschedule a double-header the next time you play. This year it just has you replay the game at the exact same date and time. It's like hitting the reset button.

Again, they had it right last year, so find the proper coding for this and get it into the patch.

I really love this game when it plays smooth and glitch-free, but MAN, it's swarming with bugs. I just hope someone on the 2k test team is pulling a boot out of their arse for this.

and getting Fausto Carmona and his teammate (forgot his name) whose heads are mixed up, on the correct body.

I keep seeing people talk about this one on every other post and everytime I start cracking up laughing to myself!!!..lol!

I have to load the game and see this for myself!! Is it really noticable?...it's too funny!! Can someone please post a pic so I can keep laughing?

Numbers on the Sliders like they have had forever!!!! Why in the world would they take this out is beyond me. How are we suppose to know what we are adjusting if we dont have numbers.

A couple of annoying gameplay ones:

- I've had a few instances where a runner is trying to score and the catcher comes off home plate or just tries to tag the base like a force out and the runner is called out, despite the catcher not even attempting a tag.

- Runner is on 3rd. Line drive toward the 3rd base line and the 3rd baseman catches it. His momentum takes him over to the runner standing on the bag and the runner is called out. Seen this a few times too.

- Pitcher covering 1st on a grounder to the 1st baseman can seemingly teleport himself from the mound to the bag. In a game I was playing last night, Gorzelanny from Pittsburgh was attempting to cover 1st as I hit a grounder to the right side. The 1st baseman threw the ball to 1st and Gorzelanny was between the mound and the base. Suddenly he simply disappears from where he was and appears at 1st base to take the throw.

I really believe with the total control stuff, this game has a lot of potential. There are simply some annoying hiccups which prevent it from being a great game. Too much jumping through hoops with sliders, logging out of VIP, etc are needed to make the game play the way it should. It really feels like it was rushed out to make a deadline or something. It certainly appears very little testing was done by the 2K team. Hopefully the patch can take care of some of this.

Can I ask you what is so funny about this?? If you have ever tried making sliders before you would know full well that not having numbers is a pain in the A**!
